Having 6 stage variants instead of 2 now definitely makes it easy to get lost, i'd zoom out all the way if you haven't already. The addition of walking while shooting helps a lot with aiming the right way, in ror1 it was really hard to attack while retreating because you had to constantly be turning around to alternate between walking away and shooting at the enemies
It's not the worst way to shoot with Commando though I do wish there was an option to make certain characters shoot in the direction of which side your mouse is on
@@CannedGooberbruh that aim at cursor feature will be a big help,i can't count how many times im tryna lights out an enemy to rest my stuff then some dumbass full health enemy walk right in front ruining my resets 😭😭
I played it yesterday and it’s a very fun game but never before has a game made me want to eat a grenade and pull the pin so much before, great game would recommend
For some reason I find it way harder than RoR2. Might have something to do with my controller for some reason reading my thumb stick moving back to the centre, which causes my aiming to get messed up.
the enemy AI is not better its so easy to abuse, the problem is the platforming is horrible and aiming/dodging is a drag. You basically walk around half health the entire game and without movement items boss fights are far too difficult because you have to walk into the enemies because you cannot get around them. Not to mention hit scan in a 2D game is shitty.@@0nmg
Yeah they balanced this game to be pretty hard, if your sticks are causing issues there's a menu ingame for testing them and setting up the deadzones and diagonal thresholds and stuff
As someone that 100% the original on PS Vita (fuck the all artifacts active achievement!) this feels like a fresh game. The changes may not be too obvious at first, but every little thing has been tweaked to make it feel better. I hope that the Starstorm Mod will get ported eventually cause that would make this game even better!

Part of why huntress is so good despite her lower health is that she auto aims at the nearest enemy so it’s super easy to be maneuverable with her.

its a tough game its got a good little learning curve to it but once u got it its real fun

The game itself is harder. It's always been the better game, imo. So glad Returns is out and does so damn much right.
