Looks great. I love how every building has its own personality. I'm so glad we can see this step by step. If I was looking at just the finished product so many of the fine details could be missed.
Thank you @christianbrass6959, It would be nice to add the finer details as I go along, however I desperately need to sort my LEGO pieces out so I can find the parts that I need.
the final wall effect looks amazing. it reminds me of those tippical wavy metal sheets out of with lots of warehouses are build (at least where i live). well done.
Thanks @madmax6220, That was the look that I was after. I was originally going to use the panel pieces, but they aren't available in Olive Green on LEGO.COM, hence going over to bricks. So pleased that I found the parts out that I did as it was exactly the look I was hoping for.
I love this warehouse! You're doing an amazing job. BTW, set 70915 from the year 2017 had a "Falcone's Legit Construction Co." sticker on a white tile - could be fun to put somewhere.
The two studs on the building instead of the four looks a lot better, when you had the diagonal corners it looked a lot like the docking bays you’d see on a lot of the larger Star Wars ships like the venator and felt slightly too futuristic for Gotham, but glad you’re happier with the design!
Thank you so much @yhyh8990 🙏, Always nice to hear that people are finding the videos helpful and enjoying them. Hopefully over time more people will discover the channel. It is great fun building Gotham and the Tantive so nice to share it with people.
Another great update and I always learn new techniques watching your videos, things I would not think of. Boy you are hard on yourself tearing apart past work as not quite happy but you are absolutely right as the finished building look and especially the sign looks the business!
Hey Dubbzi. Once you get the bay doors in place then we'll talk 😂.jk Seriously though, the first iteration was nice, but the second ine is dynamite. Nive letter work and the olive green is a nice addition. The drab colours are definitely screaming Gotham. Love it brother.😊
For the 'Gotham Harbor' signage: A method i usually do for this lettering in particular is sticking to the same 'font' for the letters. (Maintaining the straight edges and within the size of 5x5 plates**) For example, for the 'B', i would make it very similar to how you've done your 'A' and just make the bottom plate black. The 'R' has always been tricky for me to not make it look like the 'A' at this scale; but may be done in 2 ways: 1. Small sticker from Lego sticker sheet matching color to take out middle of right plate (I know a bit cheaty but best way to get that 1x1 plate thickness to complete the look) OR 2. Turn the 'A' into a 'P' and where the section is missing have your same method of Cheese slopes except now with the horizontal line is there. (This will have the cheese slope extended into the gap between letters potentially connecting two letters but can be controlled by adding a extra plate of gap after R's only. This will give a consistent spacing but will affect your connection points on bottom such as your 'H'. May have to work around and have it all on tiles and connected at back/top instead) Drawbacks to this scale and method are that B's look like 8's and D's look like O's... As always great video Dubbzi, love seeing the progress on the city! Sorry for all the waffle and words, its so difficult describing techniques without pieces. **Note you can get away with 1/2 plate differences for N's etc which need to be completely sideways!**
Thanks @Marshall_Law2006 🙏. I am determined to find/create a new font for the writing. I don't want to be restricted to just a couple of styles. Unfortunately there are not that many online that I have found that I like. Thanks for the tips 👍
Could you give a quick pan around the build in your next video please? I’d love to see where you’ve placed everything in conjunction with the cave etc. if you’ve already done it I apologise if I’ve missed it.👍🏻
Have you considered trying to add the Penguins Zoo from Batman returns? It could give a bit more variety than just buildings, although I'm not sure you have room, the city is already starting to look crowded.
@mortagon1451, I am going to be adding a scene from Batman Rerturns where the Penguin parents throw him in the river With the river leading to the Penguins and an his lair. The park with the river will get away from the buildings. I won't have room for a full zoo, not yet anyway
Like always great video, love the warehouse’s design, as it’s well designed and full of detail. Gave video a huge like and keep up the great work

The dedication to details is inspiring, very well done.
Thank you GucciGengar. 🙏
Super impressed by your ability to redo a section till you truly get it right! Massive respect 🔥
Thanks @Axidroid 🙏
I was impressed with version 1 of the warehouse but version 2 looked so much more right. You have a good eye for this.
Thanks @davidfisher5507, I got lucky coming across the pieces that I did. Really pleased with how they came out.

Thank you @jeremyfee, I do have that set to make so will be good to make use of the sticker in the city.

Thanks Taylor, Totally agree. There was something about it that didn't look or feel right. Much happier with the latest version.
Keep it up!
Will certainly try @AdrianMuns 👍
Your channel is seriously underrated man, love the in depth way you get into how moc building works, really helpful to see your process!

Thanks Mike, If first you don't succeed, try, try and try again 😂. Good to hear you are picking up some techniques 👍

@@inkbytes9440 sure, no problem. Will add an update in the next video of the latest vision/plans for the city

The US spelling is comic accurate anyway :)
I thought I would check before building. So used to spelling it with a U 😂
It Falcon-E- strongly pronounce the E at the end
I just go by how it's pronounced in the Gotham TV series
🤓
Love your Videos Mate. Always great to see your Progress. Your living out my dreams. 😂🫡
Thanks @juliusm6250 😂. I do feel like I am living the dream building Gotham. It is so much fun.
