Morton fans turned out in their numbers and added to the atmosphere. Rangers deserved winners but Morton look like a decent outfit, well organised and worked their socks off.

Kieran Dowell the unsung hero for Rangers today. He covered every inch of grass and his passing and link-up play were first class. I'd play him off the left-hand side of Danilo, he'd cause havoc there against any opposition.
Desperate to see Tom Lawrence back playing for us. He runs and shoots for fun . He was just coming onto his game when he got injured.
Man of the match has to be Jamie MacDonald. I know a lot of the shots were right at him but you still need to have good reactions to push them out. Good showing from the Morton fans, I hope we see them in the prem one day.
That goalkeeper for Morton deserves a lot of paise . He saved them quite a few times in this match.Rangers we need to be sharper but that will come as we get our regular first team steeled and they play more and more with each other
