I think this video would be really helpful for non-traditional applicants - if you're an RN like me or if you don't have a science background then you'll still be able to apply to some of these schools!

    As far as I know, all entrance requirements for Republic of Ireland to study medicine requires an exam called the HPAT.

    When you say having MCAT, and then 4 years program, this applies to those who have already a degree or someone without having a degree but having MCAT can apply for these universities?

    All Medical schools in Argentina don’t require high school/A level science subjects. The only prerequisite needed is your knowledge in the Spanish Language since the subjects are taught in Spanish. And some of them are 100% free.

    Do you know if I go to an Australian medical school and graduate, can I come back to the US as a doctor?

    • @sugariiesw33t
      @sugariiesw33t  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi there! If you want to practice in the states for sure then I would say the best thing to do is try to go to med school in the states. I haven't done a lot of research on the US myself, but to my knowledge, it definitely is still possible! You would have to prepare for & write the USMLE. Check out reddit and student doctor network, there's a lot of forums and posts on this topic. Hope this was helpful! :)

  • @phoebe109.

    So you don't have to apply in the US for medical school? If you apply is lets say Australia, does that mean you can only practice on that country? I'm asking because my undergrad is from a university in the United States.

      Well foreigners can practice medicine in the United States if they pass the medical licensing exam and do a residency in the United States.
