That's mad, what you did. I'm mentally exhausted from walking up the stairs. Lmao.

Get back to Crossfit, you seemed so much happier then. BTW, been mouth taping for over three years, get much better sleep,

haha l will be honest, when l first read this comment it did prompt a question of 'was l though?" and l really did think about it so genuinely thank you for bringing the point to mind. But l get it, this was a really REALLY hard run and a lot of the camera time was spent either anxious about the run or absolutely wiped post run so l guess l didn't ever really look like l was having a great time. When l did Crossfit a lot of the happiness came quite naturally because l was also hanging with friends, loud music and throwing down. And of course l was enjoying filming everything at that point as it's fare easier than during ultras. But honestly Crossfit just became very boring and unfulfilling for me and the happiness was attributed to being around others in the end which felt off' I do this kind of stuff for totally different reasons and come at it from a different approach. The fact that it's really hard, forces me to dig deeper than l ever knew possible and go pretty dark some times is very addictive. So as much as the absence of a smile at times would suggest otherwise l really am much happier doing this, l think what I'm probably struggling with is the ability to 'put a camera face on' to create a really engaging piece of content, which is something l always did better back in the day ;) Taping is an absolute game changer isn't it!

@@TheLeanMachines maybe it was for selfish reason I mentioned this. I miss you and your friends having a good throw down, or doing something new in terms of functional and Olympics training. While endurance running is amazing, and the progress you have made is outstanding. On camera, as you say, the excitement is dulled by exhaustion. I miss you and the “lads” during the golden era of channel and Crossfit for that matter. Don’t get me wrong I appreciate all your content. It’s just different now, and few will get ultra-running unless they are doing it. BTW, I was a mouth breather, and had no idea the effect it was having on me. Game changer indeed! Love the channel, and I only moan because I care. Kids come and life changes, but wouldn’t it be great to have a couple of reunions?

@@RogueCylon Totally feel ya man and honestly really appreciate your feedback. I certainly miss those golden times and big throw downs as well. The main thing that really changed the ability to do that all the time was the fact that we had to work. Sounds obvious but the channel was never a job and never paid enough for us to just create content, unfortunately we found out the hard way by spending too much time just throwing down hahaha I'm pretty sure we will always share bits and pieces no matter what we do and if you take 1 or 100% of the content then happy days, we appreciate you all the same.

@@TheLeanMachines still going to watch, still going to rewatch older ones. Like today the Sonny Webster Olympic lifting, OHS ND snatch workout. You guys introduced me to Sonny through these. So many nuggets of info.
