love the fact that the camera didn't matter. It's all about the vision and execution. It was never about having the best gear. Photography is a language.
When it comes to the flash for the G7x it always works and takes pictures faster if you not only open the flash but force the flash in the settings but hitting the flash button and clicking “on”. I didn’t see you mention that in the video nor did I see other people comment in about that but I noticed you kept mentioning “when the flash works” it always works when you both open the flash and set it to flash on. 🙏🏽 beautiful photos and vision
I’m not surprised at all by the images if you know what you’re doing you can get some great images from any camera this was a fun video
I like your compositions more on all of the G7X photos. There's more breathing room around your model. Great video thanks for making it! Ive been curious about the G7X, it looks like a solid camera!
Whitch settings did you use on G7X? +- exposure compensation? RAW? W/B? Picture profile?
I think I only missed one picture per section. The on-camera flash defiinitely isn't as strong as the flash you were using with the 5D, and there's more diffusion when shooting against the light with the G7x (it's much easier to separate them with the backlit pictures, didn't miss any guesses there). Oh, and you don't get as shallow a focus plane... but they way you used it did minimize this issue... (when you punch in with the G7x, it looks all right).
But it's not a big enough difference to ruin the pictures. Such a great looking set with either camera! I think the way the G7x reacts to glare gives those backlit pictures a nice dreamy look.
I guessed all but one when 5d and g7x were side by side but when it was only g7x I only guessed two at the end cause I wasn’t prepared for that option, you totally got me 😂
Sorry this was not a review it was a comparison, like comparing a BMW and a Suzuki hatch.
I wished that you would have pushed the camera to its full capabilities. I don't think that many beautiful young ladies like you and your stunning model can afford the larger and bulky camera. Looking at your work I am envious of your amazing results and professionalism. Ps I have asked my granddaughter to check your channel
Nice! I really like the G7x series but I have never used the flash on any of them 😃 The Mark III is one of my favorite of the newer point and shoots but $799 is a bit much IMO. I prefer the Panasonic LX10. It has a better sensor, a better and faster lens (f/1.4-f/2.8 vs the G7X's f/2.8-f/4) it has IBIS, a faster 1/4000s mechanical shutter and it's $200 cheaper. You can also get on the telephoto end of the LX10 and get a slightly shallow DOF look for head and shoulder shots thanks to the f/2.8 aperture on the tele end. The $750 Sony ZV-1 with its stacked, BSI sensor and f/1.8-f/2.8 Zeiss lens is also a great little 1 inch sensor point and shoot as well. The eye AF is excellent on it too.
It is obvious by looking at the bokeh which is the G7X II or the full frame. The depth of field is always shallower in full frame.

I tried shooting like normal on my little Ricoh GRii too, but experience the same thing. The recycle time of the flash is very slow, so you end up just waiting for it to reload. Which is understandable in small cameras like this, but still frustrating
как правило - очень легко было понять где на что снято, и угол объектива выдавал и любовь "мыльницы" к недосвету фона и пересвету вспышки, ну и размытие, конечно :) с последними кадрами подстава удалась. Я прям думал, о приколько, практически сравнялись камеры, неотличимо получилось, ну вот тут зеркалка, а тут мыльница наверное. а оказалось все кадры с мыльницы :)

Great content as usual ...had to watch it twice to overcome all the distractions that had me going "Dang!" ... 0:41 1:28 1:48 2:02 2:11 3:45 3:54 6:31 6:57 7:03 7:10 7:24 8:06 9:13 10:09 10:24 10:43 10:55 ... Getting better at staying focused though...lol

@sadowskaphoto When both the G7X and the 5D were used, I only missed two. When it was all G7X, I missed all but one. I was mainly going by the bokeh, which seemed to be the biggest difference between the two. I didn't realize that the G7X could be zoomed, so I thought it would have a narrow aperture on all shots. Which was obviously not a good assumption. ;-)

2023...why is it so noisy? Were noise added manually? I mean even 2-3x time cheaper smartphone produces less noise.(on a smaller matrix)
