My hopes that it does come with a disc drive and they offer full backwards compatibility. These are my hopes but I'm realistic and I know it will probably come digital and have detachable disc drives sold separately.

I think PS6 will stay physical media as they know Nintendo are still staying physical.
Sony found having disc drive separate they can make more money

I think PS6 will still have game discs. Console will have add on disc drives sold separately as an option. they understand older generation that still prefer discs, I believe the Japanese people have an old school mindset when it comes to products, they still print a lot of manga and newspaper etc… Sony is wants to be modern but I believe still holding on… Nintendo on the other hand They’re even more old school, very traditional, I don’t see them going digital for the foreseeable future. just my guess. And I hope I’m right 🤞
