    great tips, gonna try your hook idea. I use a lighted nock to mark my deer location. even if you don't shoot them on your arrow set up just pop it in an arrow stick it in the dirt next to your deer. doesn't way much, extremely bright and last a long time.

      I had no doubts for your hunter success...in Italy says: who starts well is half of the work!!

    Great vids .... Keep up the good work ... Just a FYI ... In Australia (where I am from) Fanny means something a lot different (vagina) to what it does here lol.

    good advice. What make/model are your bino's? Mine are 8x40's, and get rather heavy. Was looking for 8x30's, but not much of a selection available.

      My binoculars are Leica Ultravid 8x32. I've had them for about 20 years and yes, they are fairly heavy but oh so clear in low light conditions.

    What grain arrows would you recommend for a 50 pound recurve for best flight and penetration?

    • @timgolder2607
      @timgolder2607  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are drawing a true 50lbs I'd stay between 450 and 500 grain arrows. That's between 9 and 10 grains per pound of bow weight.

      Ok thanks just switched over to traditional from compound appreciate the videos and tips is there a certain brand you recommend that is fairly priced?

      Aluminum arrows are going to be the best bang for your buck. I'm a big fan of carbons and most often shoot either beeman center shots or easton aftermaths. Both are fairly reasonably priced. I did a video a few months back on arrows, carbon arrows are tough to beat.
