JVC RC-828LB Rare Boombox Appraisal Before Repair. Radio Cassette Recorder.

Hi Folks,
Here's a JVC RC-828LB Radio Cassette Recorder from the late 1970's. There really aren't many of these about now, so it's definitely worth trying to save!
Join me as I unbox the delivery and take a look. I make a quick test of the functions and brief condition report ahead of getting ready to fix it up.

I like that personal stereo. Is it made out of metal? I guess I'll see when you do the video on it.

It's mostly a thick, very rugged plastic. The top plate and microphone /belt locks are metal, and the insides use a sturdy steel cassette mechanism - it's heavy but quite something!
