Next time you need to remove the engine, just remove the whole front (bumper, coolers etc) you have a lot more room to wiggle and its only 1 hour work to remove the complete front. Great work on the bearings btw!
not done any work like this in my workshop ,very few electric vehicles in our village . It looks like an absolute joy working on theses ,no nasty oily bits and it looks fairly simple compared to all the crap in a petrol or diesel .

The Hyundai Kona through 2023 has similar issues and a very similar gear reducer design. The round particle magnet moves around and releases ferrous particles back into the oil and in some cases takes out the input and intermediate shaft ball bearings. I do note this one has tapered rollers on the intermediate shaft. The Kona motor also suffers bearing problems from outer race as we see here.

Renault doesn't want to repair it and tries to sell me a new engine.... do you have any experience how to fix it, or is it possible to bridge or trick this sensor ? The engine is running normally.

I have not removed the engine yet, I don't have a bearing noise, the engine runs just fine, but from time to time it shows "engine default" followed be all kind of other lights and problems. And in worst case the car stops. You can change gears but nothing happens on the display, though mechanically you can still change the gears from D to P and pull the car to the side. But you cannot drive anymore and this error comes up every 50 meters sometimes which is dangerous as hell. So I got the cr to the repair shop, they first said it is the rotation sensor, they removed the engine or the gear box, checked the sensor but it was ok. Still I could not drive the car regularly. Hi EV Clinic! I’m having that exact same noise as in this video th-cam.com/video/mGQ3EagPQao/w-d-xo.html on a 2017 R90 41kwh Zoe. I believe this has to do with failing bearings. Which bearing have you placed?
Corrosion on the bearings, how come moisture gets inside to cause that corrosion.
Still way less work and costs than rebuilding a modern diesel engine. what about the new Phase 2 motors? Are they more robust?
