Good morning Kevin, with all the sadness going on lately, I find that watching your videos gives me so much peace and relaxation, so thank you for all that you do for all of us. Greetings from California ❤
Kevin my cousin has jam and bread for his tea everyday. He is 89 years young and he calls it his farmers tea. We're in North West (Cumbria) UK so perhaps you are harking back to a tradition of farmers from centuries ago. x
❤for us here in the US as well. Each day brings another traumatic announcement of another piece of our government collapsing 😢 I'm so grateful for the oasis named KEVIN❤😊
Thank you Kevin for inviting me into your home. What a wonderful day!!! I am now craving bread ..thanks for that. It was fun watching you plant your new seeds. As always, a glimpse of the furry family and the warmth of a fire ..can't beat that
Dear Sir, you brought back memories for me of my Grandmother, born in 1888. She grew and had numerous varieties of African Violet’s. She was in an African Violet Club for year’s. They must have been very popular year’s ago. I have one of the wrought iron, glass shelved stands she had them on. I also remember she saved coffee grounds and egg shells, mixed together well, to put on top of the planting soil to fertilize ❤ Thank you for the MEMORIES 💕🙏🙏
My GiGi had a large number of African Violets. They performed beautifully for her. My sister still has some of them. I've never had good luck. I also loved her Lipstick Plant.
At the end of these videos when you thank us viewers, I must admit that lately that kindness really hits me emotionally. 😭😭😭😭 You're too kind, Kevin. Thank you ❤
🥳 Kevin, A new episode of my favorite TH-cam person How exciting I’m watching it now Having a bad cold 🤕 And need to hear your soothing voice and see what you are up to today. Best wishes 🤧🐝 And stay healthy
Again today was a rotten day......and Voila Kevin is here to cheer me up and make me feel life is not rubbish mess but pretty, innocent, tasty and colorful.......where is life is still slow and simple and every little thing is beautiful and appreciated
I learned SO MUCH from you today, Kevin! Warm to hot water to moisten peat-based soils, adding vermiculite to soil to increase water retention, vermiculite sprinkled atop a pot to stop algae formation… I’m so glad I stopped by your kitchen today!!!
Kevin, I know I am not the only one who feels like you are our new best friend. We can tell how much you appreciate your fanbase. So, thank you for that. Thank you also for all the hard work you put into your videos every week to share with your friends. We appreciate it!

I have been a fan for several years and TRULY enjoy each and every one of your videos. You make me believe I can plant a garden, bake bread, make a souffle 😮 etc because of your detailed, approachable instructions and continual encouragement. I especially appreciate when you honestly report you forgot to add an ingredient. The way you persever and cheerfully move on punctuated the fact you are just like us (well almost😊) and we can do these things as well.
Oh, I just know that all of us want to move right in there and live at your house and help you with the gardens and taste the food with you and bake and cook and see the snow and beautiful upstate New York and all the seasons of life with you, Kevin! As an added benefit we get to see all the pets and play with them and go shopping to all the wonderful farm markets in your area. Oh, life is rich and full and good and kind up there by you!!!
Watching your video has made me antsy for spring and gardening. I love to see your African violets. It reminds me so much of my grandma. She had a golden hand with African violets. Her window sills were a rainbow of colors and they made your heart smile. She also grew wonderful roses, they smelled like heaven. Thank you for starting me on this trip down memory lane.
Thank you so much for sharing your day with us 😊 The Bread just looked amazing! I'm going to end up having a green thumb watching you gardening 😂 I love seeing the fur babies and the cozy warmness you send to all of us that appreciate your videos. What lucky cats to live in such a beautiful and large space! I so enjoyed seeing the French loaf. I worked with a French Chef and it was a fantastic experience!! The kitchen was tiny and many busy evenings he would tell me “ we danced well together this evening “! I loved it so much and it was just before I earned my degree and started teaching ❤ You would have been a customer at their lakefront restaurant Le Maribel! He taught me so much as you do as well.🙏🏼
Thank you so much Kevin, I really enjoyed this relaxing video and I can't wait to start seed planting! Missed Avery's sweet face looking up at you adoringly !
I know how to fold a business letter! When I was in college in the 80s, the secretary (Betty) of my major's department taught me how. That may have been the most useful thing I learned in college. LOL. Betty was feisty!
Another wonderful “Time with Kevin”! I was encourage to try making the French Sandwich Bread. How do you store the loaf after baking? Thanks again for a lovely visit to your home❤
This was by far one of my favorite videos from your channel. Thank you for sharing your bread recipe and gardening tips. I have been thinking of starting a small herb garden and I feel confident in doing so after watching you start your onions.
Whenever you release a new video I get so excited and ask what are we going to get up to today? I love the cooking, house projects, the garden, the pets- just all of it!!!! Thank you Kevin for sharing your life with us!❤

So delightful to spend time with you on this rainy, icy, snowy day. I just planted more pansies and violas. I will be in Ghent for their pre-mother's day plant sale. I hope to see you there.
Just ordered over $200 worth of plants and seeds from my favorite catalog, Select Seeds, a female owned business. My holy grail is getting sweet peas to bloom here in NE Ohio where summers are so hot and humid. Gotta start them earlier this year.
What a lovely visit…. I learned about African Violets, how to bake a beautiful French bread, and we drank Irish tea with beautiful piano music playing in the background. A perfect moment of luxury. I think we can all agree that homemaking is a great art form.❤❤❤
Happy Friday KEVIN, I was so intrigued to see your coffee percolator, obviously I have too much time on my hands but I have been wondering how you make your coffee because you never show that at least I have not seen it.... is perc coffee your go to all the time? This was so delightful to watch ❤
I felt productive getting 2 banana bread loaves baked, but Kevin is a dynamo, I see. Well done, Kevin 🪴 🌱 🌿
Hi, Kevin. Thanks for the video.
The tulips in the kitchen are even prettier - now that they are more "open". I enjoyed watching Kevin make this arrangement in a different video.
Happy Friday KEVIN, I was so intrigued to see your coffee percolator, obviously I have too much time on my hands but I have been wondering how you make your coffee because you never show that at least I have not seen it.... is perc coffee your go to all the time? Kevin, thank you for allowing us to spend the day with you, it was truly enjoyable!
This instruction on dividing and repotting African Violets was extremely helpful! Thank you!
It is 31 of January and sure is early to start any seed planting ! We in Minnesota can’t plant any thing out side until 5-15 . It would be too cold 🤷🏼♀️I learn a lot about violets today hopefully I will remember all your good tips
Awesome.
I really appreciate you!
If I lived there with you I’d eat all your bread and you’d kick me out !!😂. Love you Kevin.
we are starting a grow room this year and using your ideas also try smashing the butter inside the wrappings- then it doesn't get ground into the wooden board (learned from my Italian MIL who lived well into her 90's) she always said - just do it the way I do -and I did lol
C'est toujours un plaisir de voir vos vidéos, Kevin !!! Ce pain de mie est magnifique !!! bravo !
Love this video, I can smell the bread from home in NY. Kevin always things gracefully. I also love the end of the video when Kevin nods his head smile to let us know that everything was delicious.
I love your videos! Thank you ❤
Good morning Kevin! I’m so glad that I got home from doing my errands to greet you today! I’m excited to see what you have for us today!❤❤ I bought seeds today also! I love seeing the seed racks show up in the stores!
I recently purchased two of the covered Pulman loaf pans from a local thrift store (brand new!) - and you have inspired me to bake a couple of loaves. Thank you for another lovely vid!
Hello from Hungary ! Thank you Kevin ! 🥰
Beautiful 💙
Thank you for sharing your grow room. Could you kindly share a story about how a dairy pantry was utilized in a home like yours?
🥛🥚🍦
Isn't Johnny's Seeds a superior vendor of growing supplies? I have never been disappointed with their products.
They are the best! Renee's Garden has great seeds too.
@paulahawkins3786 Thanks! I'll check Renee's Garden right noow.
I love when Kevin bakes!!!! I need order my seeds. 💙🖤
Honestly, wish you were my neighbor! I need to make another loaf of French sandwich bread soon! You are so right about it being the best. Kevin, you do a LOT of gardening! Consider investing in Proptek seed starting trays. These trays encourage root growth and prevent root wrapping. They're also VERY strong and will last for years. I bought my first one in 2016, and I'm still using it. Yes, the cost more, but you won't believe how great they are. I have 6 of the 162 cell trays, and a 330 cell tray for starting onions. They are game-changers! Why start onions in a 330 cell tray? You get a better root system, and because of the cell design, you can remove them without damage and plant your seedlings easier.
Thank you Kevin
Kevin, I wish I could live with you too. I think my stomach would be happy and I could listen to your piano playing and love on Avery. That bread looked amazing!
Here on the Texas Gulf Coast I have started my tomato seeds. As a Master Gardener I also grow tomatoes for our spring plant sale. They call me the Tomato Queen. 😂
