@@stum8374 which cars catch fire?
@@ElectricVehicleMan obviously none, hence why Renault spent money designing the packaging for this battery so that it in case it goes up in flames it can be easily contained. Nobody knows why, since as you say, NMC batteries never catch fire. Boeing 787 issues also never happened.
Exactly the same as the Mégane in the US version very boring. Outdated
Hyundai Santa Fe.
The boot length is drawback as a family car.
I was looking forward to driving the Scenic EV as it appeared to be the right range at the right price. However, when I borrowed one for a day the wife immediately rejected it.... She correctly said that the distance between the wheel arches in the boot is too narrow! Not at all big enough for the IKEA run! And I believe her to be correct. Also there is no false floor panel in the boot. So with the rear seats folded down, there is a massive step up from the boot to the seats. Not good enough. It if presents itself as the ultimate family car. Then everything needs to be thought of.

poor ADAS :-(
@harry7384 what's that? That's how important that is for me! What's ADAS?

I’ll stick with my Skoda Enyaq Sportline 85x.
Why would anybody WANT to buy an EV?
@@cnursery Considering the best selling car in Europe is an EV, maybe you should actually try one rather than read Facebook.
But it’s French!
@@robbenson4598 aren't they known for their solid electrics? 😜
In all seriousness, a few people made this observation when I bought an early Zoe. In practice, the electrics were fine.
The suspension however... Well let's just say we spent more on suspension repairs than electricity during the time we owned it.
@@MrWobling can never forgive them for what they did to Joan of Arc! 😉
Why would anyone buy an EV? A massive fire risk, insane depreciation. Public charging issues. When you can bu an iCE vehicle that just works.

Hideous interior. Too many buttons. Screens jammed together. The ariya version looks classier. The European are struggling with their car designs ... Same old......
Except that its a Renault and will self destruct the day after the warranty expires.
Nearly got one of these. The shape of the boot stopped us - tall and deep boot but very narrow. Great car for someone that doesn’t transport golf clubs a lot! Went VW ID7 tourer instead…!
Charging port on the wrong place for me a showstopper.
How do you find the ID7 tourer?
I’m thinking to get one (as a company car).
@@vvvvvv8032 I love it. Had a 2016 bmw 3 series before this and the vw knocks spots off it. Haven’t done a long journey yet but seems great
