Hi. Can you talk about the most common failures with this radio. I have one that do not initialize and get hot. The display only shows the bmw logo. And the lower is hot on touch.

@@customboatscreensolutions5893 No, there isn't any connection for hooking up an amplifier. The sound system is through fiber optics so you can't simply make any modifications or upgrades. Please check with your local car stereo shops for adding a subwoofer.

you need to have it programmed if you want all the features to work but for basic function you could gat away with it.

I hate how everyone already has the air vent cover popped off.....that's the hardest part of the entire process....show where and how you pop it off that's the point of the video.

Just insert your dash removal tool close to the location of the clips shown in video and and pry it out.
