Always time for coffee on the beach☕. Impressive young woman having the spirit to travel so extensively (?alone?) straight out of University, and to put so much emphasis on cultural experiences. A traveller, not just a tourist.
@@g-raffasaurus2350 you are absolutely right. I've spent a lot of time learning Balinese and I can tell you it's led to some fabulous reactions and interactions. We foreigners are pretty lazy with languages. Indonesians offer have impressive language skills.
@@WCMoss Oh yes they definitely are wherever you go in the world :) I have lived in many non-English speaking countries and it's really nice once you can move past just being a tourist and can relate on their level. Well done sir.
@@retribution999 Wow that's amazing! Whereabouts do you live there? And may I ask where you are from? I am ex-Kiwi, now full time nomad. I am planning to learn some more Indonesian before returning to Bali. For me it's enjoyable and super rewarding to learn another language.
Stacey sounds like she has a plan. Good on her too. I was never so forward thinking at her age. Just jump on a plane and hope for the best. One of the warung ladies was speaking Javanese, asking someone to sit down. I love the cultures and languages of Indonesia; it's like sambal; the spice of life.
Hi Ed. I've also found many younger travelers today seem to have more of an idea of what their future holds or what they need to work toward. I, like you, was just rolling the dice and seeing what fate threw my way.
Awesome videos wayne! I'm planning to travel to Jakarta soon and wanted to learn a bit of the Indonesian language myself. I find your videos very helpful.
Some people are carrying camera tripods for protection these, days and it's not a hassle on planes and busses, have you thought about something like this, or a long selfie stick, for assistance with your K9 encounters.
I love dogs, but dogs in Indo can be a real pain especially when they chase your motorbike. Most are in a poor condition too which is very sad to see. I've met some lovely does there too.

I thought the young woman showed real traveler traits also, Kevin.
The more I watch your channel the more I enjoy it. Thanks Wayne.
I'm really glad. Thanks, mac.
I love hearing foreigners speak the local language!
Well done!
So many ex-pats don't even bother and expect the locals to speak English.
Thanks, g-raff. I think locals are more open and engaging if you try to speak a little bit of the language. Cheers.

Hi Bob. Glad you get something out of the little vids. Hope my bad grammar doesn't lead you astray. :) Cheers.
Thanks Wayne😊
Cheers Mary.
Nice update thanks Wayne 😊
Hey, Cherie. Thanks.
Wayne explore A great surfing spot in Ekas Bay, precisely in the eastern area of Kuta Mandalika Beach, East Lombok.
Thanks, Muhammad. I'll look it up. Cheers.

I'm reluctant to as I prefer to travel with as little as possible but it's probably time to consider it here.
You need a walking stick, dogs from behind bite, just recently found your channels top notch, PEACE!!!
Thanks foster. I do need a big stick.

There are some good dogs (I'm a dog lover) but there are a lot of bad sorts here and they're a pain as you say.
Lazy works for me
If lazy paid well... :)
@WCMoss ...I'm am lazy...but when I work...yes I am paid very well
