I love the idea that trying make homemade vegan foods since not everyone lives in major cities, but sometimes the "alternative" is still only found in major cities. I definitely haven't seen that type of mushroom before in the store, nor mushroom for the rib episode either
being vegetarian one of the few foods that i really find myself missing is orange chicken.. maybe that could work for a future make it vegan ep? love your content so much btw :)

Maybe if we stop dividing we humans up into every category and special identity possible and and demonizing those who dare say anything wrong or the wrong way it could happen more. I like some vegan food but normally its hard for me to find something that actually replaces a non vegan food while still being just as satisfying. The exception for me is Thai food, way better with mock duck or tofu to me lol

I love how Merle respects everyone’s right to choose what they eat and she recognizes that being vegan is a choice she makes for herself, but still educates us about a cause she cares about! She even tells us how to eat meat responsibly, which is so amazing and I feel like is rare for vegans.

Obviously if you are doing something immoral and someone calls you out on it and tells you to stop and you don’t want to then you’re not going to like that person! My boyfriend lives in the country, and so he thought the meat in his area was locally sourced. I said to him, if you don't get it from the farmer or the local farmers market, then it's factory farmed. Somehow this was surprising to him. People need to educate themselves.

I've been vegan for almost 4 years now and I think it's really important to spread the message in a way that people don't feel attacked. Because otherwise they won't be open to learn about veganism.

I've been vegan for almost 4 years now and I think it's really important to spread the message in a way that people don't feel attacked. Because otherwise they won't be open to learn about veganism.

Americans are so lucky to have all that vegan stuff ❤😭 that big mayonnaise jar, the vegan fast foods, vegan cheese that tastes good😩😩😩 in my country you'll find some tofu (only one type obviously), some plant milk and that's all.... I do really appreciate this recipe, I will try it as soon as possible!
