- From the very beginning of this project, I feel like I’ve been running equipment nonstop I can’t believe that this is possibly the last ditch I have to dig to the new house.

Glad I caught this. My TH-cam time is very limited these days. You are right about spending time with the family. Back in the mid 80's I was working hard on structural repairs to our first house. A friend stopped by and told me to cut back and spend more time with the kids. The house would wait. I took his advice. I'm always thankful for that. I do the same now with the grandchildren.

Great idea Tom to be able to run future circuits outside without drilling through and into the panel. It’s looking really good man! I went with flat black doors and I think I’d go with a semigloss next time. The flat black almost polishes when you clean it leaving marks. 🤷♂️

How deep do you put the metal caution tracer tape from ground surface. ?
2” pipe is big, but a very long way to go. What gas pressure will this pipe be at. ?

Thanks buddy ! I just put eight gauge tracer wire in the ditch with the pipe and the meter is out at the street. I’m gonna try to run it at 11 Water columns, which is less than a pound and see if the larger pipe will sustain the volume. I need to operate everything in the house if it doesn’t Work good enough. I’m able to bump it up to a 3 pound system, then knock it down with regulators when it enters the house !
Long way to go at 11 WC. It’s a propane system right ?
@@noelstractors-firewood57 natural gas it should work because of the upsized pipe they run old towns in my area on three and 4 inch lines low pressure. I guess we’re gonna find out real quick in the winter. Hahha
