TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY, as well as Ashy's birthday, and that is a reason to celebrate!
I've FINALLY turned 18 years old!
I still can remember my 12th birthday hAHAHA-- WHY DOES TIME PASS SO FAST.
Anyways, I hYPERVENTIlATED as I saw that MARETU (my fav producer dUH) uploaded a new song on the 27th of May and I SO HAD TO COVER IT, LIKE AAAAAAAh gUY S WE finally HAVE A SEQUEL TO MIND BRAND!! And since I covered Mind Brand already, I felt the urge to cover this one as well.. and, oh well, what nice timing, because my birthday was close! So I decided to cover it for my birthday. HERE YOU GO!

You have a really good voice. It's not to high pitched but not too deep, just perfect! Do you have any tips for doing covers? I wanna start out with them and was wondering if there were anything I should know.
Lil Miss Megpoid Thank you!! Hmm.. As a beginner program I would suggest you use Audacity, it's pretty easy and not too difficult to record or mix! Be sure you practice the song a lot to avoid little mistakes! And try to sing on time! You should try singing to the off vocal or karaoke subtitle versions that are timed and scripted already here on TH-cam instead singing to the on vocal (for example type in "World is mine off vocal" and it will most likely find you a video which has timed and scripted lyrics in it, just like on NND, but in Romaji!). Singing to the on vocal can cause you to listen to the original vocals too much and because of that your voice would change!
Try taking a deep breath before a line starts and don't try to sing with your throat or else you'd get your throat to hurt, you should try to balance your voice between your eyes and nose (when you sing you would feel a type of vibration in this area), for high notes use your head voice, for deeper ones use your chest voice (for each it will vibrate in the named area)
I am more comfortable using my chest voice when singing powerful, since my voice is actually deep.
For singing on tune I would suggest you practice first. It can take a while and I'm still not quite there. If you have a piano try going up and down the notes (from C to the other C) and try singing a straight "A" without vibrato or else in the same note.
If you want to sing powerful, be sure you open your mouth widely as if you scream, but ... please don't scream.
That would be everything so far.
If you want, you could change your name to something fancy, but not too long and give yourself an artist name and create an OC and ask people or commission to people for you to draw.
That's all ^^

Bis vor 20 Minuten kannte ich den Song noch gar nicht aber ich muss sagen.. Er gefällt mir. Respekt und Lob an dich, hast ihn wirklich gut wiedergegeben, auch wenn's für mich manchmal so klingt als wär' die Mische etwas schwach da deine Aussprache gelegentlich undeutlich wirkt. I have a question :0 how do u record these? I wanna try doing a few covers but idk how I'd record them??
First you need a microphone (also can be a headset microphone).
Second you should download a program called Audacity and there you can record your voice.
Make sure you record with the off vocal playing in the background. (I don't recommend listening to the off vocals/instrumentals of songs using your speakers).
Well, after you recorded, you should use a noise removal (You can find it under the effects tab in Audacity). Maybe add some Equalizer, Delay or Reverb and then you can add the instrumental with your vocals in Audacity. Don't forget to time them or otherwise your cover will turn out bad.
Well, that is what you should do when you are a beginner :)
