the boss itself isnt bad, but it just doesnt make any sense to have in sekiro. sure, if u have the umbrella you can parry his attacks but most players will not have the umbrella on a normal playthrough. it forces the player to forget everything they have been doing throughout the entire game and mainly run around/dodge instead of head on combat with parrying. also the boss fight is boring as hell :/
@@sum_hatedgun fort is annoying but parrying, I am fighting demon of hatred and only very recently got the umbrella, have barely used it at all. Of course I would have to farm to get the upgrades that actually help in this fight. Sword parry and fire gourd might be good enough, but up untill now I usually just dodge the fire

Yes, and corresponding elemental attacks, like fire here. If you just deflected with the sword, the burn meter would go up

People that say this boss is bad need a dose of git gud. Great fight though this is one of the few doh posture kills I’ve seen.

Very possible to do everything without umbrella. Basically anything beside the blade is not necessary, and sometimes it's a bit of extra work to get
