Guy was shot by a belt fed weapon twice, hit with AC 130 howitzers, woke up, and started fighting again. Legend isn’t even the right word.

Every time I watch this video I close my eyes after and picture Chapman waking up covered in blood gripping his rifle in pain breathing heavy and being shaken by the surrounding incoming fire from above as he struggles to then gets on one knee and then I picture him start to engage until the blackness came

Just watched your reaction, and I was very substantially impressed by the commentary and thoroughly professional way you discussed what you were seeing. Nicely done!!! I have watched several reaction videos of this action, and yours was by far the best, detailed and insightful response. I have subscribed to your channel and am looking forward to seeing more of you reactions. Thanks!!

As a US Marine (ret) first I have to say semper fi to all my brothers and sisters out there whether they made it back home, are still overseas, or are guarding the streets of heaven now. Also MSgt. John Chapman is a true warrior. I was told once that every minute of the day there is a marine in a fire fight somewhere in the world, its good that more people see this video so they can understand what war is really like and maybe one day we can find peace. Until that day it is nice to have the SEALs and the Marines to call on. USMC ret.

It is an instinct to protect those you care for over yourself when you no longer see the country but your brother who will die if you dont dig deep and protect them i always cry when i see this. It's being human it is what gives us strength to push past the pain to protect what we cherish god rest his soul he has set an example for all of us. I Wish there was no war

Great reaction. Mic Volume was a little low as you know from the comments. Thank You for watching this. As a vet I made it my mission to watch all of these I can find to hopefully spread what some of the worlds best humans can accomplish even in the face of death.

wow your gorgeous, your husband is a lucky man, thank you for honoring our soldier, his MoH was held up by the Seals because they didn't want to admit they left someone behind. Think 7 people died in the engagement but in the end we cleared the mountain. The team leader also got a MoH and there was a pararescueman who is being considered for one, posthumously, because he had been shot but refused to treat himself and instead saved a comrade, he died 30 minutes after being shot, think he got a navy cross or whatever his branches highest award is, just under the MoH in the meantime. I had to turn my headphones all the way up to hear you, but as you mentioned already, your working on it.

Mauritius With Love I’m about to watch but I just wanna tell you; these sound settings aren’t as simple as simply speak louder, it’s also with microphone sensitivity because if your microphone was able to you’re at a good distance and volume so you just have to factor in distance from microphone your own volume along with the microphone’s sensitivity. I can see how if you don’t have earphones or headphones you would have a hard time hearing.

    • @MauritiusWithLove

The time has come for this to be made right. It’s simply not true what people have said is happening in these clips of ISR footage. To those who get angry at what I have to say, read it, consider it, evaluate it and then ask yourself who are you really angry with? Me? Or are you angry with the people you respected and trusted, who lied to you, who betrayed your trust and ignored their responsibility to live honorably and do the right thing, even when no one is watching. With a axe to grind, or a misguided goal, or both, they buried the truth and sold this story by releasing short, classified clips of ISR footage, then misrepresented what was occurring in it. The masses who don’t know any better buy it, even solid, experienced operators watch the grainy footage and can be convinced of what they say is happening. The reality is, it’s manufactured from confirmation bias and sold by attacking your sense of brotherhood. They have betrayed you and they have betrayed the honorable death and memory of TSgt John Chapman and his family, and all the operators and SOF personnel who fought on Robert’s Ridge/Takur Ghar on 3-4Mar2002, especially the seven who lost their lives. Stand by for the truth.
