That’s the reason why you are running it for a long time, you are leaving the wrapper on the ice cream while it’s freeze drying. You will be surprised how fast it will be done, if you don’t block it from doing it job with the wrapper. Why you think blueberries won’t freeze dry good if you don’t cut the skin.
