Its pretty good. My dog isn't really one to run off, so he doesn't "test" it as much as others Im sure.

Could you tell me please, is the centerpoint going to measure outward in all directions. In other words, if I set it at 65, will it be 65 from every point of the center? Thank you so much!

yes, that is the way it should work.

So what is the base that it measures from when your setting the collar up

The base is where you set it up... so when setting up the collar, do it from a place where you want the center point to be.
