I must have $50k in knives ,lol , and I got some very nice ones , but heck you got some sweet blades. I am a bit ocd , so a bunch of money went into multiples of $200-300 knives , but I never spent more than $300 on just one. That may change though ; been eyeing the TRC stuff lately , lol. Peace man.
IMO, you chose the sweet spot cost wise for performance knives. Beyond that you are getting small improvements for a lot more money or paying for a name or rarety. Mind you I would argue today that cost has jumped to about another $100. My most expensive was about $400 usd on a Gough Resolute 3 but I paid a bit for the latter 2 reasons.
