Love your attitude and sense of the absurd. Very refreshing in a sea of TH-camrs that take themselves and their channels entirely to seriously . You write well sir.
I’m the proud owner of a Medium Chopper & also a rare & beloved (Prototype) Heavy Chopper. I absolutely adore Carothers Performance Knives, I just wish they were a little easier to acquire. I went from a Busse lover then got over them, now my CPK’s rule the roost of my knife collection where raw performance is concerned. I truly believe that if one day a comet hits the Earth & destroys it that my Carothers knives will be floating through outer space for ever more! These are the toughest blades I’ve ever had the pleasure of using.
I love this channel, and I love his sardonic humour. As a guy who collects knives, axes and tomahawks, I find it hilarious that a lot of the knife community judges knives, by their capacity to serve as axes.
I never paid more than $3k for any of my cars for my whole life, Mr. AdvancedKnifeBro, until my wife got stranded in the dark in an unfamiliar neighborhood. Now I lease a new car. Seasons change. And speaking of seasons, congrats on the new addition. We have six and 8 (soon to be 10) grandkids. Needless to say, I can' bust-a-move like you can, sir.
I’ve got a dozen 440c knives from the late 1980’s-1990’s. Two are twin ‘18 inch long bolo style choppers that are 6mm thick. And 30years old now. Never had a problem with chipping. And barely noticeable rolling. I paid $100 each back then. Still use them today.
There are quite a few idiots on BF but I’m happy to pay the big bucks for a nice knife made by a small shop. I’m sure this maker is great but they don’t have anything that I’ve been in love with style wise. Thanks AKB.
At some point in every knife collector’s or TH-camr’s or baby haver’s life, rent and car payments will become synonymous, luckily you are simply combing and speeding up the process. So when you’re living the high life by the river in a van, don’t forget all us nameless faceless sheeple that held a torch for AKB along the way.
so many videos lately! a blessing. edit: especially blessed when you have a new kid on the way. early congrats from me. hoping everything goes smoothly.
I don’t love spending 20 hours on a flashlight video that sits at under 5k views for years. If people really thought they were better than the table top stuff they’d be racking up views.
Hey big man , always a pleasure , love your commentary , desert dry sense of humor , congrats on the addition , they will be driving soon , before you know it , pull the old Pontiac out of the barn and get it ready .
I’ve built in 1974 Lemans just like yours to door with the most beautiful deep metallic blue I’m going back 35 years I wish I never sold a car boy is it beautiful
Knife Bro, I need a light for work. I'd want it to be an "area"/flood style of light, like a work light would give, but also run on 18650s (single or multiple) or maybe even 26650s. Is there such a light you can recommend please? Also, if you have any suggestions for securing a headlamp to a hard hat (to buy, or diy) that would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks.
Congrats on the new addition to the family! Don’t know that I would want to haul that beastie around on a hiking trip ..... though it looks like a lot of fun for just whackin your wood in the yard!
Lucked out at a salvage shop when owner said it(this Machete in corner) must have been in a fire with smelly wire burnt all over it,(in the sheath all gummed up) needs cleaning bad.. $40 bucks later I was home scraping the dried Military grade Cosmolene off.. Lithgow(I think), Aussie Golok left over from the war, Unissued.... God I love Blades!!!! Merry Christmas!!!Knifeheads!!!
I like the design. It’s got visual appeal and looks like a good performer. But that much 3V is silly. 3V is great for making knives with thinner, better cutting geometry without sacrificing strength. I’ll stick with my Skrama.
This knife could probably survive a bomb... but again I have a lot of decent and ok choppers that have regular carbon steel and they’re great. No complaints about 5160 from me.
You get a like from me in a record 23 seconds for no other reasons except past performance coupled with that top-popper nailed to that stump in the yard.
Just caught the comment about SURVIVE KNIVES. Love it. However having recently gone over their website and seen what they expect you to have to go through to get the knife you want, I know exactly when my knife will arrive. NEVER! There are too many other good, readily available knives out there to put up with their nonsense. Best of luck with the new child. They are the best part of life.
Well. It’s all good. We all had to make sacrifices at one time or another. Even with 2 kids Pete is holding his channel like a champ. Good luck keeping up! 😋😉😆 But if it’s too hard don’t worry. I didn’t get to go for reruns. That’ll keep me busy for a while. Good luck and bee good at it like at YouTubing knife reviews. Whatever the hell you do in the meantime. Cheers🍻!
Yeah, the Rats will do. However, then you'll have the whole "but that's not Infi"... thing to contend with in the comments. I was a drinker of that Kool-Aid for a while, but found that my actual practical knife needs in camp, or hiking, fishing, etc (which I do a lot of at this point--four kids, lots of camping), led me to rethink the ideal blade. Congrats again, man. Be well.
Congrats congrats!! Hey u should cut the umbilical cord with that blade b4 u return it add that to its resume lol I have the bk39 myself and the weekend warrior in me loves it just fine Payed less than 120 for it and it does everything that knife does minus cord cutting and circumcisions lol. That being said if I had 500 bucks to spend on a blade that one would sure be on the list.
Congrats AKB! Just found your channel when you did the JungleAss2, and you've grown so much (insert sarcastic comment here). All the best for you, the missus, and the kids, take care.
Instead of doing a white boy twisting dance to see how the knife stays put, how about some real cool back flips. Im sure after a few cold ones you can do some great flipping. : ) Congratulations on your 2nd child
I have a Zombie Tools Reaver Cleaver I bought a few years ago, in a drunken stupor. It is still super sharp and doesn’t have a spot of rust. Of course, I haven’t killed any Zombies with it, either.
I recognize that knife.Made by NateAIM YT Nov 21, 2014 ? Might be Noss (Nathan Keffeler ) of Knife destruction tests ? He has been using 3V for a long time.Maybe he didnt become a plumber after all.
Congratulations on your new little one! I love the 74' lemans! My first car was a 68' VW beetle. It was a great car until my idiot buddy wired up a stereo for it, causing it to burn to the ground. Sadly it didn't get me laid either 😨
Love your attitude and sense of the absurd. Very refreshing in a sea of TH-camrs that take themselves and their channels entirely to seriously . You write well sir.
Your yard is so majestic. I feel like Mr. Miyagi is going to walk out and teach you how to chop wood without knives.
I cannot explain to you the sense of pure joy i got watching you beat the shit out of a 500.00 knife!! Ahhh yes the day may proceed now!

*Best damn, real world beer and knife review channel on the internet... and I mean the whole damn internet!*
Congrats on new baby!! Just had my third child little over 2month ago, 14yo took a break 3yo and now 9weeks 2days!! It's a mad house over here
That’s quite a span! Congrats!
Congrats on the new little advanced knife bro. Should call him Baton, err, I mean, Batten Bro.
Congratulations on the expansion of your advanced bro family!! Bro!
BRAVO AKB - another winner sir. Congrats on the baby.
Congrats on the newest family member. Thanks for another entertaining video. I always look forward them.
Dude I appologize but I hardly listen to the things you say, I just watch these video’s to relax and the footage speaks for itself 😉

That comment at the end about Survive! Knives was fantastic.

Congratulations on the new addition, and also for the baby,,, hope all goes well,
cheers, bud,,
Congrats on the new addition man! Also, thanks for finally pronouncing Junglas correctly. 👍
so many videos lately! a blessing. edit: especially blessed when you have a new kid on the way. early congrats from me. hoping everything goes smoothly.
Disappointed with not seeing humorous flashlight videos from this channel but keep doing what you love!!
I don’t love spending 20 hours on a flashlight video that sits at under 5k views for years. If people really thought they were better than the table top stuff they’d be racking up views.
I’ll take 5 Skramas and still have plenty of money for beer!! Good review!
I have a Carothers EDC that was gifted to me by the same person who owns this chopper. Great knives.
Yeah it’s a very nice blade!
Congratulations with your expectation. Thanks for this review. A question: what boots are those? They look quite comfy and are what I'm after.
Those are Wolverine Kilometer Boots.

I think I sold mine for $500?
Congrats on the family expanding
Hey Knife bro. Are you gonna get the Victorinox hunter pro alox? German knife scene is set ablaze by it.
Review the baby before though.
I’ll consider it!
All the best for the new advanced knife baby.
Baton that fatherhood my man! Most tactical dad 2018.
My favorite new channel!
Congrats on the family addition!
My favorite knife reviews on the intertube

Congrats on the new addition to the family!

Good thing you’re a knife guy. You would hate your yard maintenance. Nice review.
Congratulations to you and your growing family. Many blessing to each of you!
Wish I had a ten inch chopper 😒
Congratulations on your family addition.
Congratulations on your forthcoming Advanced Knife Apprentice, bro!
congrats for the coming baby!

"Drink a fucking beer and put the keyboard down" best advice ever given

499.00 Hell Yeah! 500.00? Nope. Like the "young Advanced Knife Bro" footage!

Large knives and families are the way to go congrats!
Congratulations 🎈 on your bundle of joy.
I was gonna leave a comment, anout using becker bk9. Lo and behold u have one lol
You're awesome. Congrats on your new addition! Now you've gotta review a Busse... just sayin. And the dig at Survive... perfection.
Since I’ve been doing these reviews the swamp rat is occasionally thrown out there. One of these days I’ll get my hands on one! Thanks man!
Yeah, the Rats will do. However, then you'll have the whole "but that's not Infi"... thing to contend with in the comments. Thanks for the Ganzo review! Do you know if they come with black, green or orange scales? I hope so.
Epic as always ✊️.
Congrats on the soon to be addition to the family.
Congrats!!! Great video - thanks!

It’s a nice one- maybe one day for me too!
Congrats on the new kid!
Congrats AKB! Just found your channel when you did the JungleAss2, and you've grown so much (insert sarcastic comment here). All the best for you, the missus, and the kids, take care.
I went back and watched that one the other day... sounds like I was half asleep when I did the voiceover. Wish I could fix those sometimes.
I love your chopper reviews.
I'm either smiling or laughing during your entire video. Thank you for what you do.
Bro, great vids lately. I for one like the flashlight vids you've put out! I miss em!
Congratulations to you and your wife! 🍻
Still waiting on my Survive Knife. Congrats!
Kids gestate faster than survive knives get made.
All the best with the new baby
Good luck & congratulations!! What’s the kids name?
Haven't finalized yet... dont know if its a boy or girl.
WAITED ALL WEEK FOR THAT GONZO REVIEW...thanks ;)
Instead of doing a white boy twisting dance to see how the knife stays put, how about some real cool back flips.
Im sure after a few cold ones you can do some great flipping.
: )
Congratulations on your 2nd child
Great review. Congratulations on the baby!

Nice video and kudos on babies! I too have never paid over 5k for a vehicle and I’ve never been in debt, but I have to many knives 🙈
I got student loans. Been paying on them since 02. Not really any other debt though.
Your bamboo chopping skills are improving bro.
Congratulations on the kid!
congratulates on your second child bro!!
What type of green tree/brush is that at the end of the video? Looks similar to bamboo.
It’s bamboo
@@AdvancedKnifeBro review it dude. The people need to know.
Great vid. Thanks!
Wait! If YOU did'nt loose your virginity... Ooooooohhh Uncle Bucket strikes again!!
Is there an Amazon link by chance?
No not this time. I did this one purely for that Blade Forums traffic!
Congrats on the new kid!
I seen you sitting on top of that seat belt. Stupid seat belt starter interlock! It's no wonder it got repealed a year later!
Finally a review of this blade!
Yay we get the blue lines again, cuz we totally need em
Also congrats on the new kiddo!!
good vibes sent for easy birth
Looks similar to the Busse Fusion Battle Mistress, but surprisingly, more expensive.
It seems over the past few years they have built a pretty big following over on blade forums. They make nice stuff!
Fantastic toilet sitting content! 😁
Same. No regrets.
Congratulations on the new baby arriving.. I'll have a cold one in honor of the new baby.🍻
I recognize that knife.Made by NateAIM
YT Nov 21, 2014 ? Might be Noss (Nathan Keffeler ) of Knife destruction tests ? He has been using 3V for a long time.Maybe he didnt become a plumber after all.
If I remember correctly the dude's name is Nathan.
Decent review on outa my price range.... keepem coming
My next few are all under $100.
Cool vid! Congratz on bro junior!
Congrats on number 2 bro and as always great video.
Congratulations on your new little one! I love the 74' lemans! My first car was a 68' VW beetle. It was a great car until my idiot buddy wired up a stereo for it, causing it to burn to the ground. Sadly it didn't get me laid either 😨
Came for a Ganzo review...was not disappointed
Yay! Best deal ever, 500 bucks for a beater machete))
Sorry to hop on your latest video just to ask this but, any chance of you reviewing the new Imalent MS12?
Sorry, I don’t have a lot of time to do that. Thanks for asking though !
Love the Ganzo all in one review! Hahaha
Seriously, this chopper looks gooooooooood! Somewhat reminds of the Battle Mistress.
congrats on the new kid !
more beer reviews please
Whoa! That is out of character man! Dropping the big bucks. Very nice. Ahhh never mind it was a loaner 😂
Not that there is anyway in Hell I'd buy a knife for $500, loved the review as always! Congrats on your second child, Bro!
Congrats on the kid man!!
Congrats on the baby akb!
Congratulations bro 👍🏻
My AC isn't working right now, and last night I spent $219 on a HEA designs Equilibrium V2! I'm crying right now 😭
Congratulations buddy ! Anuther good vid👍
