Natalie, you slow down the noise in my mind. Watching your videos brings me peace! I hope you know i watch you for you, there is never a need to keep up with all the other youtubers (who likely put out fake and dramatic content). I know sometimes you feel discouraged about being "the perfect youtuber" but just know, you are relatable, kind, gentile, thoughtful, creative, determined & thats why we love you ❤️ hope you are having a wonderful day!
I had a student with pica which caused intense chewing episodes and many eaten pencils (including the metal parts and eraser). We cut clear refrigerator tubing and put the pencils inside so that she could still chew and we did not go through as many pencils. It was also not very noticeable to other students. It worked well for a long time.
This video was exactly long enough for me to do a load of dishes!! It’s just what I needed! And I love hearing about homeschooling from you. I plan to homeschool my future kids one day and you give so much insight into everyday needs for homeschooling and teaching that I’ve never thought about
Post surgery & last year of homeschooling, enjoying watching & always ready to pick up tips & tricks not already in my bag, as well as enjoying your positivity & relaxing style while healing.
My grandson loved perler beads. He made Minecraft replicas, dogs, vehicles, and characters. He is older now and his creations hang along the bottom of a high shelf. Many of the leftover beads are in spice jars hanging on a spice rack in my kitchen for a pop of color and a flash of memory. My iron is feeling left out. 🤣
🍎 I like to watch/listen to decluttering and cleaning videos while I attempt to declutter and clean. My daughter will be 4 in February but I’m looking to get a head start on homeschooling (if I can stay focused enough 🥴)
I’ve been thinking more and more about homeschooling when my baby is old enough to start school and you’re channel is inspiring me even more to do so! I love all your content, definitely a huge inspiration for me in every aspect of life! Thank you for posting amazing content 🤍✨
Got my 3 year old off to school, put my 3 month old down for her morning nap and now enjoying your video while folding laundry that has been sitting in the basket for the past 3 days 😆 Oh yeah, my 3yr old is very much into perler beads too! 🍎
🍎 I love your videos! Very helpful in more ways than one! I listen while I clean or work on something that I want “company” to listen to…go ideas & love your decorating for a holiday❣️My favorite is Christmas, especially your tree! I have wanted one like yours forever, I have a saving account I add to every now & then…someday! For now, I’ll just enjoy yours 😊
🍎 My kid is 25, but my “kids” are 6-8th grade. We are 5 weeks in. Just enjoy your company while cooking or cleaning. Okay, I’ll be honest, mostly procrastinating 😬, but I do love “hanging out” with you! Thank you for always being honest and AWESOME! 😘
How cool is it to see this journey you’re on with your kids?! I was wondering how much different/ how much fun and exciting it must be for you to go through these levels with your kids with more updated content what you grew up with since you have shared how much you enjoyed your homeschooling experience growing up.
🍎Hello from Greece! 1st day of school is tomorrow here, so...perfect timing! I wish you have a great school year! Thank you for your content. You are the best 👌 ❤
I don’t homeschool but autumn is always a great transition time. I always try to support my children’s curiosity by doing some fun learning at home as they are gifted and my son has adhd and that is a combination that SCREAMS being bored at school. My son now is in first grade, my daughter in kindergarten and we certainly change out a lot in autumn as they are a lot at home in summer (or outside). So we see what they still enjoy and try to make space for Christmas presents by passing outgrown boardgames and toys to their little cousin. The math fidgets look like fun for my son. I HATE perler beads. Sometimes my kids like to do them, but they prefer throwing them around when they get bored. I have bought window colors as my son liked it in therapy. That’s a project I want to start in autumn. In Germany we learn crayon it with the y clearly pronounced as in the first example.
🍎 shucking the last of my corn to stock my freezer while watching! ☺️ I have a 4 year old boy that I’m doing homeschool prek with! And we love it too! Here for all the homeschooling, fall, gardening, and everything you do! Love your content!
🍎 Fun! We homeschool too and I love organizing for the new year. 🎉Enjoy your kids being little 🫶 Mine are now teens but it’s still wonderful having them home with me
🍎 been homeschooling for 4/5 years now. Second year of schooling all of my children at the same time. I try to declutter my school stuff at least once a year. 5th, 2nd, and Pre-K. Three boys. Your videos give me much inspiration and peace. Love you guys!
I could do a declutter of our school things too :) I usually do my strength training while I watch a TH-cam video. We use the handbook of nature study and love it! Such a great resource! I've been eyeing treehouse schoolhouse resources forever, so beautiful! Going to check out that planner!
🍎 I am actually watching at 1:45 am, can't sleep. Oh those beads we still keep stocked here for my kids, they grew now grandkids and bonus kids love them. When we did home schooling going through drawers would of been awesome. We used the semi clear drawers And those always frustrated me. Because I could still see the stuff inside the drawers. It didn't look so neat. I love your videos Natalie. Sometimes I'm doing a project as I listen and other times I am that person sitting back feeling like I am visiting with a friend as she is doing her projects. You're such a blessing.❤ I do thank the Lord for you. Your heart and your videos. May Jesus bless each one of you and your family with bunches of his love and all the goodness he has for all of you.
This took me back quite a few years to our son's coloring days. He called crayons "crowns." It surprised me know other people called them that. He's now 30 and still, they are crowns to him. I enjoyed this declutter video. Your school room is so neat!
Hearing about kiwico makes me think of this family friend of ours who we called "uncle" - they sound like just the sort of thing he would have sent us when we were kids. ❤
Just love a good back to school reset! What a fabulous fidget toy and educational to boot! I will definitely need to look into those!:) Have a great year!:)🍎
I just had a suggestion. Check to make sure the erasers on the mechanical pencils are not necessary to keep the extra lead in the pencil from falling out. If you still don’t want the erasers, simply remove any extra loose leads in the clear tubes and store them separately.
I kept the erasers on! It was the little plastic caps OVER the erasers that I thought unnecessary and a potential choking hazard (for kids and a puppy!)
🍎 I'm baking sheet pan pancakes and flapjacks for the school lunches and my husband did a toy declutter yesterday, thanks for helping with the motivation, love from Ireland and God bless you 🇮🇪
🍎 I have a 5, 4, and 2 yr old with one on the way. We’re slowly getting into homeschooling. We’ve kept things pretty unstructured so far and it’s served my oldest 2 very well. But I’m looking to push into it a little more this year. One of my children is VERY hard on herself. Sheis also extremely sensitive and emotional. We work really hard at building her confidence with things she already knows but then when it’s time to learn something new she shuts down very quickly. Any suggestions to keep her motivated and not get so down on herself when things get hard?
Have a wonderful school year. Microscopes are an awesome gift. You'll all use it for years to come. I purchased one when I was teaching high school biology, and I recently gave it to a homeschooling family.
Lol hi, native Ohioan here -- we pronouce is CRAY-AHN. I enjoy your transparency and being my virtual accountability buddy while my son takes his nap. I relate to being a parent of a high-stim baby!
It wasn’t the erasers, but rather the caps over the erasers that I thought were super unnecessary and a choking hazard, not only for kiddos who put everything in their mouth, but also our puppy!
🍎 Natalie! Put shelves in the tracks instead of those baskets (in the hated piece of furniture)! The "drawers" will become baskets on shelves, and your problems will end 🙂 Of course do what you wish and not what a random person from the internet tells you, but I'm in furniture building phase, and the idea popped in my head only now (and it's not ghe first video with them). Lots of love ❤
Oh my goodness!! I have not heard anyone else pronounce crayon like me! I spent my first 7 years in Maryland then moved to Arkansas. I worked to lose most of my northern accent, but I have to really think before I say crayon in order to pronounce it the "acceptable" way. Thank you for sharing another relaxing declutter with us!
Man I wish those fidget math toys existed in the 90s when I was in elementary school. I feel like I’d have had an easier time in math because my ADHD brain HATES math with a passion lol
I have a sensory kid too. He chews on every toy/pencil/object in our house. I have no idea why or what to do about it. I just discovered you and am subscribing! I love your vibe ❤
It’s going to look different in each state and country! I intend to keep records until my kids have graduated high school. My husband and I are certified to homeschool in Washington state through a course we took. Certification is also available to those who have college credits or those who hire an overseeing certified teacher.
So funny because I'm from Portland, and I pronounce it like Natalie. But my husband from the Seattle area (like her) pronounces it like "crown" 😂 I guess the PNW is a hodgepodge!
Do we get to know what brand of colored pencils those were? My kids are marker fanatics but I love colored pencils... I'd love to introduce them to some good ones that they'd be inspired to use because of the quality. Thanks so much!
🍎 So nice you're enjoying your time teaching your kids home schooling! I know you were decluttering & wanted to wait to do dusting/cleaning another time! But I couldn't do that. I would have to do the whole thing. I couldn't put something back in a drawer or shelf without wiping it or dusting it! It might take me longer, but that's OK, because I don't want to do it again until a few weeks later! I know everyone does things differently & that's fine! So nice you got some new things. That microscope looks awesome! I would even like that! The boys could look at some of their skin or nails. That be interesting for them. Maybe they could make a video of that! Opie looks good! Well, take care! ♥️☺️🫂🦋🐾🧶🧵🪡📓✏️🍄🍁🎃🌹✨️
Yes! I used to be that way too, but then I realized that it was holding me back from being productive. It might work for you, but my perfectionistic sort of mind would always tell me that if I can’t do the full job it’s not worth even starting, and then I was way less productive than I am now with doing things incrementally!
Yes, you probably are right, Natalie! But I have a lot of pain & health issues, so it's hard for me to do much of anything. I mostly sit in my chair & I do scrapbooking & some hand sewing. We do go swimming & I ride a stationary bike. Also, we go for walks now & then! I do drive a little, but I have that neoarpathy in my feet & I can't feel much in them, it's so hard for me to feel the pedals! Ha! So that's my story! Thanks for messaging me back! I do love watching you when you do your videos. Could you show your garden & what you're doing in it a little more. Some more recipes would be good, too. I love watching you make your recipes also! Have a great day! ♥️☺️🫂🦋🐾🍄📓✏️🧶🧵🪡🍁🎃🌹✨️
🍎 Watching this video as I make a study plan for a professional certification! It feels so daunting right now, and your video provided the motivation needed to get started! (Also "cran" here, midwest born) I'd love to see your family's full fall bucket list and autumn activities
I am in Missouri b/w/o Kansas with parents from Missouri and New York. I definitely heard "cran" most growing up, and a little "crown", but personally say "CRAY-yon". "Cran" and "Crown" are both examples of the syllables being smushed together - if you say cray-YON really quickly, it can sound like crown, and if you say CRAY-on really quickly, it sounds like cran. :)
Always love your videos!!! Wow another school year! Your children are growing up so fast I'm sure you all are going to love the microscope! God bless you and your sweet family!
Do I have school age kids? No. Did I watch this entire video? Yes, and loved it. Your videos are always very calming. ❤🍎
🍎
Same here. Natalie gives so much peace ❤ she is my giant cozy blanket

Natalie, you are such a genuine, down to earth and humble person. Love your videos. Please never change🥰
So excited for this new video! If you find yourself with some staple fall meals I’d love to see a video on them! 😃🍎
Post surgery & last year of homeschooling, enjoying watching & always ready to pick up tips & tricks not already in my bag, as well as enjoying your positivity & relaxing style while healing.

Can't wait for your 'What I bought my kids for Christmas' video!!
It’s scheduled to drop right before Thanksgiving!
🍎 I like to watch/listen to decluttering and cleaning videos while I attempt to declutter and clean. My daughter will be 4 in February but I’m looking to get a head start on homeschooling (if I can stay focused enough 🥴)

Oooh so excited to watch this! I’m in full “fall declutter mode” so this came at the perfect time 🍂💛 Can’t wait to watch!
Happy Learning to your children! Have a wonderful school year!
One of my favorite videos of the year! 🍎
Watching from 🇵🇭…Thank you for being an inspiration. I love you, your family and everything about you. 🍎
Regularly decluttering sessions every few months brings peace of mind. Loved this video. Thanks for sharing great tips ❤
I don’t do colouring books. I have doutangs with plain pages for them to free draw/doodle or write. When it fills up, recycle.
❤ Always so great to hear how you’re making your space work for you 🍎

🍎 Yay, it's video day! Your videos are a source of joy for me. Thank you for doing what you do because I love it so much!
As usual, you've inspired me. I'm going through my kids' art supplies today. Can't wait for your Fall Clean and Decorate video!🍎🍂
🍎 been homeschooling for 4/5 years now. Second year of schooling all of my children at the same time. I try to declutter my school stuff at least once a year. 5th, 2nd, and Pre-K. Three boys.

Haven't started 'proper' home schooling yet as our daughter is only 2, but this makes me super excited to start sometime soon!
I could do a declutter of our school things too :) I usually do my strength training while I watch a TH-cam video. We use the handbook of nature study and love it! Such a great resource! I've been eyeing treehouse schoolhouse resources forever, so beautiful! Going to check out that planner!

I have a Well Planned Gal homeschooler planner and it has been SO HELPFUL. I actually put it into my year tote with how detailed it let me be.
🍎 I love watching your videos during my pumping breaks 🤍🤍🤍
Hearing about kiwico makes me think of this family friend of ours who we called "uncle" - they sound like just the sort of thing he would have sent us when we were kids. ❤
How fun! He sounds like an awesome uncle! 😌
🍎 I just love watching you! It’s encouraging to me that you are going through this room again! Real life! My daughter loves Perler beads, too!
I even use those pencil boxes for my makeup, it’s the perfect size!
🍎 I always love your fall content! I'm a new homeschool mom and love the inspiration and ideas.
So looking forward to the fall clean and decorate video! It’s one of the videos I look forward to the most 🍎
Just love a good back to school reset! What a fabulous fidget toy and educational to boot! I will definitely need to look into those!:) Have a great year!:)🍎
Pregnancy insomnia at 3am again- got me watching my favorite gals on YT 🥰🍎

🍎 I love watching your videos. I am currently doing some diamond painting while watching. Your content is so down to earth, I love it.xx

🍎 don't have kids, but you're my favorite channel to watch during my work lunch ❤
Lol hi, native Ohioan here -- we pronouce is CRAY-AHN.
I enjoy your transparency and being my virtual accountability buddy while my son takes his nap. I relate to being a parent of a high-stim baby!
Also native ohioan. My family all say crown. Haha
Love this time of year! Can’t wait for all the cozy, homemaking, and motivational videos :) 🍎
Preemptively removing the erasers is something I hadn't considered but it will definitely start doing! What a great idea!
It wasn’t the erasers, but rather the caps over the erasers that I thought were super unnecessary and a choking hazard, not only for kiddos who put everything in their mouth, but also our puppy!
Love this cozy time of year! Homeschooling, cool weather! 🍎
Today I finished declutter my apartment. Its feels so good.. and light 🪽
You could look into oral fidgets to provide an 'ok' outlet for the sensory needs. They come on a necklace and can be a good mobile option for kids.
🍎 Natalie! Put shelves in the tracks instead of those baskets (in the hated piece of furniture)! The "drawers" will become baskets on shelves, and your problems will end 🙂

Here in the U.K. we pronounce it cray-on. Crayon.😂
I am not a homeschool mom but this is always so interested / satisfying to watch 🍎
Request for a post of their claymation videos!❤
I LOVE hearing about your homeschool 🍎
Hi, french girl here! We pronounce crayon the first way you said it. Thank you for this video and thank you for protecting your kids' stories ❤
🍎 Great video, it’s inspiring to watch a home reset and organize video. I love back to school season as well! 😀
Man I wish those fidget math toys existed in the 90s when I was in elementary school. I feel like I’d have had an easier time in math because my ADHD brain HATES math with a passion lol
We love perler beads!!! So good or fine motor skills❤
🍎 definitely my relaxing time but you give such positive motivation - thanks for sharing 🌷
🍎 omg the perler beads I LOVED THOSE might get some just for nostalgia for myself,my kids are still a little young for them 😊
Hi love watching I live in Cyprus a island in the Mediterranean,I have been decluttering for a year now maintaining thank you for updates
Love your videos as you are a talented person as you do your cooking cleaning and declutering god bless you and your family
I ordered these spinners too for Multiplication, they are pretty cool...
Perler beads and cross stitch are the only reasons I have an iron. Crafting in our family far outweighs non-wrinkled clothes. 😅
🍎 it's 5:30 pm Egypt time I just got home from work and having my lunch/diner 😅
🍎 you’re helping me through cleaning my bathrooms 😆😅 My least favorite task but paired with a fun video helps it go by faster, so thank you!
I will say I do still love coloring with my grandkids!!
My 11 year old daughter is also obsessed with Perler beads. She just passed 100 figures she’s made with them.
Love your decluttering videos 🍎
🍎 current cleaning out my garage. I love your videos.
Thanks for the welcome! I enjoyed joining you and just making some apple cinnamon bread on my end!
🍎 Watching this as my daughter and I snap our homegrown green beans. 😊
🍎Happy back to school!! Love your cozy motivation!
From east canada, and I have never heard anybody call it anything but Cray-ON. Interesting that there's different pronunciation for the word! Neat!
Have a wonderful new year of schooling! Love your videos❤
I have a sensory kid too. He chews on every toy/pencil/object in our house. I have no idea why or what to do about it. I just discovered you and am subscribing! I love your vibe ❤
My mom (from Ohio) says CRAN. I grew up in NC and say CRAY-ON. I didn't even realize my mom said it like that until I was an adult!
How long do you need to keep homeschooling records? What do you need to keep? Do you need training to do homeschooling?
It’s going to look different in each state and country! I intend to keep records until my kids have graduated high school.
My husband and I are certified to homeschool in Washington state through a course we took. Certification is also available to those who have college credits or those who hire an overseeing certified teacher.
Oregonian here to say, we pronounce it the full cray-on usually 😂 but I have heard both the other options from time to time as well
So funny because I'm from Portland, and I pronounce it like Natalie. But my husband from the Seattle area (like her) pronounces it like "crown" 😂 I guess the PNW is a hodgepodge!
🍎 Always looking forward to your videos! I'm even watching the older ones, some of them still in your last house. 🥰
Do we get to know what brand of colored pencils those were? My kids are marker fanatics but I love colored pencils... I'd love to introduce them to some good ones that they'd be inspired to use because of the quality. Thanks so much!
🍎Thank you for the motivation!
I say cray-ON. Like the first friend you mentioned. My husband says "crown" and it drives me nuts. And we grew up in the same home town! 😂
Thanks for sharing! 🍎
🍎 So nice you're enjoying your time teaching your kids home schooling! I know you were decluttering & wanted to wait to do dusting/cleaning another time! But I couldn't do that.
