Coldplay - A Message Tutorial

A lot of poeple have been asking me about the chords, so I decided to make a short video. To get the C on the B string, just tune it UP half a step. Your tuner might show the right note! ;) Happy new year! :)

Very good tutorial, strange tuning, but Chris Martin uses several odd tunings on a lot of his songs.

@JDoyle4991 Of course ... there is a way. I bet there are chords and tabs online. Sometimes I just play it standard tuning also.

@allommb Thank you! You could play the bass note on the E with your index finger like I show in the video before I tell that I use the thumb. This way you probably have to leave out the bass note on the minor chords ...

The song is played in the key of C like I showed in this video! If you'd like to use a capo like I did, then it's exactly the same only brighted up a little (a half step) like you sad. Be sure to switch the chord positions by one fret, too! ;)
