Yes Man is so well written, he just can't help but be positive about everything, regardless of how much the courier fucks things up. Genius character/faction to implement for a way for the player to take control in the game.
i fucking love the brotherhood chapter in new vegas, they're not "the good guys" they're a faction serving its own purpose. good? evil? complex? waste of time? up to the players beliefs. i love fnv, this game is genius.
The only reason to put Hardin in charge of the BOS is if you want a quicker access route to power armor before destroying them or are roleplaying a diehard BOS member in the Yes Man ending, because that's the only one where the BOS can survive with Hardin in charge. Otherwise, it's better to leave McNamara as Elder.
Lol let McNamara stay elder and did all his quests and still killed off the BOS anyways for the NCR, figured it was bad idea to attack the van Graffs for real. Even if it took awhile to get power armor training using McNamara. Woulda done Arcade's quest but he is being a sour fellow and don't really like him heh.
I never could go through with this ending when I was doing a BoS character. Destroying the Securitron army is one thing but having to destroy the Hoover Dam feels like a very unBrotherhood thing to do since they’re all about preserving technology.

And then Bethesda thought it was a good idea to give Preston the Yes Man role.
@@battlesheep2552 Preston is less of a "Yes-Man" and more of a man who... what was that? ANOTHER friggin settlement needs my help?!

@@WoodenChurch_041 If you keep McNamara, you can have the BOS ally with the NCR.
