It's a long trust building process and they can be stubborn if domestic sales are seen as enough. For dialovers specifically, there's also censorship of content to contend with.

I originally wanted to buy this game, I had the intention of getting Paradigm Paradox *only* because of the character designs (some designs at least), but after seeing that Anne Lee/apricotsushi was involved with the game and that she, among other things, has pronouns in bio, I don't want to get the game anymore, sorry... I hope that everyone else who buys Paradigm Paradox likes the game.

Hey is there any otome game where the MC is basically an otome villainess? I really love villainess stories. It's a great inversion of the trope, plus I like it when the 'otome protagonist' ends up being quite evil, like seducing taken men or acting innocent and vulnerable or making the villainess be the bad guy when in actuality the villainess never does anything unreasonable, it's just how the protag frames the events. Like bullying being reprimands for violating societal conventions.

No there isn't. The titular villainess of the currently popular novel trope is actually non existent in real otome games.
My next life as a villianess and Mob seku are this exact scenario, so I recommend you check them out. They're animes not games though
