Rally tested. An icon of mitsubishi. Pajero dominated the gruelling Dakar stages for straight 10 years, 1985- 1995. And the last units came out of production late 90's to early 2000. Its a tough off roader, and a strong mountain goat still in use today by both offroad enthusiast and the daily business drivers
The best looking SUV ever on my book. The exterior is waaay ahead of its time.
Ganda talaga, dream car ko to nung bata ako and still mas naaangasan pa rin ako kesa sa newer SUVs. Gsto ko rin sana magupgrade kaso mukhang madaming gastusan and malakas petrol consumption hehe
Local variant talaga malalaman kapag bench seats sa dulo, heheh. Maski patrol at expedition noon. Ganoon din Adventure Super Sport namin. Ganyan din.

Maganda talaga porma ng pajero idol...compared to the latest ones...tama ka ...classy...sporty...ung looks nya...di na be-behind sa mga newer models.... gusto ko rin magkaroon nyan idol.... kahit pa 90s yan..for me still the best one
i grew up with three: red '98 and '04 fieldmasters + '07 green di-d. "kumatok" yung '96 around 2014, may hindi ata nacheck yung pinagawaan tas nag-overheat or smth (di ko sure bata pa ako non haha pero sayang), yung green binenta nung 2012, kaya iisa na lang ang ganyan namin (2.8 na 4x2) at sana tumagal pa.
i'll never not love them and i won't trade it for anything. ang tipid sa diesel at ang sarap panakbo, nakakatuwa rin pag may kaparehas sa highway 😂 hala napahaba na comment ko HAHAHA ang saya lang kasi pag may nakakaappreciate ng pajero.

Before gusto ko sedan kase cool. Pero yrs goes by naging van na gusto ko. Hangang naging revo or adventure. And one time bigla ko naisip na bakit hindi nalang pajero kase pang family use lang naman. 4 lang naman kame. Kaya sana soon makabili ko nyan.

Nice ride... Sa aircon vent you can try to remove it then try use mighty bond or stronger...
Might change the vents soon nalang. Want to bring it back to its original shape ☺️

Yes very simple yet classy ☺️ not quite sure with the fuel consumption but i think a well maintained pajero ranges from 8-9km pr L

Wag na mga mods... Only keep it stock.. Ang reason for the delay start... It was the transmission area... Pajero ng dad fieldmaster 4x2 20 y.o., I had the chance na ako mgpa repair with my own mekanic.. same issues delay start but buti ang mekaniko na linis lang nya ang sa may transmission sockets nya. + change fuel pump + clean EGR(unblank back to stock, sabi ng mekanic this help for the mileage just keep it clean every 40kms) and turbo
Before the repair
AT light always blinking (recently change at fluid and filter)
Delay start
Cold start (every morning my dad use it as an alarm, ang ingay and ang usok,) he usually start it on acc then off then start the engine.
Delay throttle
Yang medyo mg hunt cya ng gear but pag 3rd gear okey na..
Na check namin with the mekanic (every fieldmaster should try)
If on D, from stop very delay throttle ang start but if naka 3rd gear na okey na malakas.
He tried the 2, L and Reverse, malakas pa ang hatak, instant ang power, shock din ako so he explain possible need na transmission overhaul but advice to wait lang na almost masira, the option was from stop shift to L then 2 then D parang manual... GAME
Then it was by chance, waiting for the fuel pump from the store, punta cya sa ilalim and nilinisan lang nya ang transmission wirings and socket kasi sobra na madumi..
Then boom ang ganda na hatakin, may grunt na cya, hndi stressfull mg drive sa traffic yang stop and go na you need to push the pedal pa.. Konting apak lang and masabi ko kaya pa makipaglaban ang fieldmaster sa mga new SUV...
1. Smaller Footprint nya compare sa new suv
2. Big and spacious interior, better than my fortuner, sad to admit it.
3. Looks na hndi ka sasawa.
4. Mabilis din and kaya makipag sabay an sa traffic.

Hi not quite sure with the fuel mileage since i havent been driving because of the pandemic. But my rough estimate for city driving would be 6-7km/L. Havent taken it out for long drives yet.

Kulang sa maintenance yung sasakyan namin but we never had a major issue since we bought him btw 5 years na siya samin (2000 model)

Bro i owned Delica L300 4x4. i have the same problem with the turning radius lol in some UTurn umaatras pa ako. Puntahan ko sana where you go for your maintenance, kaya lang kabisado ba nila Delica? since ang alam ko Delica came from Pajero chassis. 4D56 din.
OEM looks lang din goal ko sa Delica ko.

Bro Renz ilang kilometers per liter ang fuel consumption ng Pajero mo. Nagbabalak kase akong bumili ng same year model syo.
Pare sa may bangkal pasay marami parts duon ng pajero accessories na mura dun ka tumingin ng air vent mo and other accessories like jaos mga parts out napakamura duon sawa sawa ka sa mga shop dun tabi tabi
Punta ka dun baka marami kapa makuha og dun
Dami sa SHOPEE/LAZADA kahit replacement sya ok na din mura lng din compared to orig.😁😁😁

Last year we bought our 4x2 Pajero field master 4m40 2003 model Automatic Transmission, the once pa lang ako nag palit ng ATF OIL?!

Sir, paadvice naman po, may dinideal po sakin 100k na pajero fieldmaster same color po nito, kaya lang sira po ang automatic transmission kasi nakaladkad ng backhoe while rescuing it from falling of the canal. Ask ko lang po if maganda ba kunin? Papalitan lang nga automatic transmission.? How much kaya magiging cost.
Boss kung gusto mo palitan mo nlang ng guages yung tri gauge mo?. Ako kasi pinalitan ko ng water temp, oil temp, oil pressure GREDDY gauges 62mm 2.5inch sakto sa butas! 😁😁😁

Next time boss, Try LC80 na Local or LC80 Dubai. For me I prefer Dubai and local LC 80’s rather that LC80 JDM’s. This are just my opinion guys :)
