NewsNation correspondent Geraldo Rivera tells “NewsNation Now” this was the most “consequential event” for Trump since President Biden’s withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race. Rivera says Trump hoped to broaden his appeal to Black voters during this event but failed to do so with his “insulting” answers.

He probably insulted a great many Bi-racial men and women too and there are over 27 million voters with parents of two distinctly different ethnicities. Think 🤔 of all the Asian Caucasians you know or have met?!? The United States Military is filled with biracial enlisted people too . . . I know from experience.
He should be adding to his supporters but instead he is driving more voters away. Bi-racial Americans live there entire lives with identity issues of greater or lesser degree because America is a nation of racial awareness. People couldn't buy houses in certain neighborhoods back in the 70's and 60's if they were a bi-racial married couple looking to start a new and better life for their family..

Nobody has a right to arrogantly obsess over another person's ethnic breakdown. It is nobody's business to try to figure you out. in u.s. history this was a commonplace obsession with most white folk. Their was the one drop rule. Biracial folk were by law black period. The fundamental basis of racism was the fear of interracial sexual relations. To 17th century white christians this was repugnant and blasphemous for over 300 years. Legal and traditional segregation of races was to protect the purity of the white race. It became a psychosis that many white still wrestle with today.
That type of thinking may have been repugnant 17th century people and yet and still the British public still fully accepted and embraced Queen Charlotte.
They asked him the questions, but didn't like the answers. Typical of the narrative they want.

This seems illogical. Consider how Democrats handle racial identity: if you're bi-racial with one white parent and one black parent, you're classified as black. This means you can't claim to be white because, according to Democrats, you can't identify as both black and white.
Now, take Kamala Harris, who is bi-racial-Black Jamaican and Indian. When it comes to applying the same bi-racial formula, Democrats don't follow their own rules and instead oppose anyone trying to apply it. How can someone be allowed to identify as both Indian and Black, but not as both White and Black? Kamala shouldn't be allowed to identify both. Who came up with this flawed logic?
