Patty is my fudging idol. I love him and respect him so much as a musician and a human being. I completely appreciate everything he does for his fans and the alternative community. I love him and i hope he is doing really well!
I love the aesthetic, and I love that they're talking about these kinds of things. I just... as much as it's a concept album, and the story is about the Poet, these are still the band's words and thoughts, and I wonder if Patty is using the Poet to filter what he's feeling but may not feel comfortable expressing. He's always been so vocal about being honest and transparent, but the truth is, he doesn't actually owe us that. He's allowed to keep some things private if it's safer for him that way. And he shouldn't feel guilty about it. If this is his way to express his art and his voice, awesome. If it's a way to express pain without a million personal questions...then I just really hope the people who are closest to him know to be listening.
To the people saying hes too old to dress emo. Gerard way was like fucking 27yrs old in 2004 when tcfsr came out and no one rlly talked shit about him being too old to dress emo(but to be fair he did look like he coulda passed as 19 or 20 then lol) and patty is 26 and i think he rocks the emo/scene look pretty well.
