A few years back we stumbled upon Ricardo Brecada’s art gallery making our way to Temecula after viewing his pieces in Borrego Springs. Thank you for highlighting this talented artist. Have you been to the western artist Olaf Wieghort’s home and art gallery in El Cajon? He was a Danish-American artist who captured the American west and frontier in his art. If anyone of your channel’s viewers ever seen the John Wayne /Robert Mitchum movie El Dorado, his art work is featured in the opening title sequence. He also acted in El Dorado and another John Wayne film, McClintock.
My family loves his work. We stop by every year on our way to Idyllwild. We bought a few small pieces this past year. Super cool guy to talk to as well.
Oh how awesome! We just went to Anza-Borrego last month to film and saw his statues. What timing! Would love to go to his studio/gallery one day as there's so much more pop culture and different subjects out there than in the state park.
Stumbled onto this while driving over the mountains, amazing if one man did all this, , saw a beautiful eagle in the trees behind the building, but was a little pricey for me…beautiful work, really liked the huge snake…
Years ago along hwy 79 just a mile or so before Vail Lake comming from Temecula you could see horse scullptures jumping the highway from peak to peak on a hill. The stadgecoach was oposite the main entrance to Vail Lake for several years also. I belive this was when his studio was still in Perris next to March Fild ARB along I-215 near the Oleander exit (Harley Knox today).

Yeah, the variety at the gallery was crazy. The volume is amazing too. I'm not sure how he finds the time to make all of these.
