Glad you posted this, even though the weather was crummy. Very interested to see you work through building the bag and what you end up liking. Hopefully, though, we get to see you throw some rounds in better weather! More enjoyable for everyone.
Love the honesty and sometimes awkwardness of trying new discs. Can't wait to see you on tour! Also, if you're taking disc suggestions, try out the Axiom Instanity. It's a slightly understable to stable disc, flies really straight and is a 9 speed.
can he throw axiom? I bag insanity in fission (stupid light/flippy), plasma (heavy and replaced my tesla) and one in Eclipse ( a flatter version of the fireball and volt I toss). I do loves me some insanity, but man do they differ by plastic type!
I am so excited to see what Simon can do with an Envy. I've leaned on it (hard) since the first run. And now I bag two. :) I have always disagreed strongly with Brad and Chad about having a different brand for the rim-colours-other-than-black. But I only sell the discs, not make them. And let me be clear: I love Gyro! MVP are the only disc golf company to start life as expert and experienced over-moulders who learned about disc golf rather than disc golfers who had to learn to injection mould. This means their discs are the highest quality in the industry, bar none. In fact they're so good they can mould a disc twice and still sell it profitably for the same price as the one-moulders!
Enjoy watching you try to learn new discs, giving us your thought process and I look forward to future videos as you get more dialed in and watch to see how your bag changes/evolves.

Great to see you playing your new MVP discs, at where else, your favorite Maple Hill course. You will master those MVP discs, and how about that Glitch disc?. Let's see if they succeed to make Glitch 170+g. I would still prefer light weight, but I think SImon would like max weight more.
You have been one of my favorites for a decade. Glad to see you struggle and make it work. Congrats on taking a risk
Thanks for getting out there in the bad weather to get a video out. Don't stress about it though, hope you're having fun in this new chapter. Best wishes for you and your family.
That was most relatable discgolf pro content ever. searching for disc, wondering "why that disc did that?" forgetting I had the perfect disc for that hole until the first one is already in the air....I have never been so connected to any pro player ❤😀
Gotta be such a challenge learning all new discs after knowing your bag so intimately for so many years. Great content and love watching you figure stuff out!! ❤️🔥❤️
Great to see you playing your new MVP discs, at where else, your favorite Maple Hill course. You will master those MVP discs, and how about that Glitch disc?. I often tell folks that a great warm up before one plays a round is to have a play catch with someone. The Glitch was made for that and is great for disc golf glide upshots when playing disc golf. I am ordering many Glitches along with the Spin and Anode putters. Your many years of practice and dedication to the sport is deservedly paying off for you Simon. Get ready to have your best year ever, YES, even better than last year because a couple of major tournament victories will happen for you. When I do get you to come to play my residential course in Uncasville, CT(very near the Mohegan Sun Casino), you will be shooting at the same MVP orange Portal basket that are used at Maple Hill. We love these videos you make, and the thousands of views on the same day you post it, is 100% proof. Have fun with your new MVP discs Simon, for that is the key to bringing out the best in your game. Most Sincerely, Bill M. in Uncasville, CT(lifelong disc golf promoter).
So excited to see u dial in those discs! U got this!!!
fun to see the growing pains, but they will pay off! Congrats on your new contract and new challenge, I'll continue rooting for you! All the best Simon!
It’s great to see you throwing gyro and giving your honest opinions
Simon apologizing for wanting to throw one more. Me wanting him to throw every disc on every hole. It’s pretty fascinating to see how all these fly when he throws them since I have very little knowledge about MVP discs. This does feel like my typical rounds with friends experimenting with different discs. I could watch these videos all day.
