Isn't there a danger of the gel layer not curing properly when using gel as slip solution? I was under the impression that alcohol was what was best for slip solution. I guess I'm trying to understand how the gel is cured through the polygel, because the polgel is completely opaque, and the gel wouldn't be able to cure through something opaque like that. I'm new to all of this, so please correct me if I'm wrong. I just thought uncured gel was dangerous to leave on your nails.
Great video, you explained so well. I didn't know about filing the edges to blend well. I tried it and thought I did it wrong, so I removed it, but this helps so much. I'll try again. I see you pull your hang nails, too. I'm afraid to use cuticle scissors, but I pull the hang nails and the cuticles all the way off! So weird
