You can take another form and press lightly under the nail like you are stacking them to smooth the underside. Leave it in place and flash cure then remove and file and finish as normal
I have a real problem with when I use the forms I collect too much product on the back. I then try to smooth it out, but always end up making it too thin where the nail meets the polygel causing the nail to break when i file it. I haven’t tried giving the polygel 5-7 secs in the lamp before smoothing it out, so i’ll give that a try. Thanks for great videos. I learn so much from you❤️
I had that issue too, did the flash cure and it worked. I couldn't go over 5 seconds though or it would cure too much. Have never gotten my nails done this well.
I love using Polygel and Dual Forms! I’ve been doing my own for about 3 years and have gotten better each time I do them! Thank you for all your excellent tutorials!!! God bless you and yours!!!
You look wonderful! You have such a fresh and natural presence. Thank you so much for your content. I love how you do nails so carefully and I love to hear you talk!
It would actually be easier to use a brush. There is another nail technician that uses primarily polygel. "Nail Mastery by Tatyana". She's fantastic, too. Give her a look. Might find what you're looking for. 😊
Great video. Yesterday I did a polygel extension on a broken nail. I flash cured a bit too long and the gel under the extension was too set to spread out so I had to file it away. Thanks for telling us the flash cure time so this doesn't happen to me again.
Girl I was worried about those flat wide dual forms….lol not something I would choose too use if I had something else lol, but you worked it out!!!!🎉 they looked great. Iridescent glitter always makes a design better! 💜💜💜
Im doing mine now and yes this way is so much easier than the other ways . I freeze cured for 5 seconds front and back and it cured so hard i couldn't use it 😂 so im not doing that but i may have just done a finger actually good . For me thats alot 😂. One finger at a time
i have always problems with dual forms. even with this hack i ended up always with too much product on the center (making the nail too thick) and too little on the sidewalls making the nail going to bend like a sheet :(. even if the sidewalls are more translucent than the center (obviously) they are not going to last for me. in this video they are, though, the right thickness.
I've found that having flat nails I can't use the dual forms because they're way too curved. Full covered natural nail tips work best for me. I either use the Apres gel-x natural or the Una Gella natural. I want to get some paper nail forms and experiment with polygel sculpting it like acrylic.
Very pretty Anastasia I really liked the polygel on the little finger the most lol...the addition of the gold flakes was that bit of sparkle we all love...thankyou for sharing xo 💜💅💜
I’ve been using saviland polygel for a while and it’s so hard to use. I used their slip solutions and alcohol and it’s always sticky. I learned recently that these gels are supposed to be relatively hard so I’ve started putting them in the fridge! Also the base gel stops the dual forms from attaching so if you just use primer it works better.
Sorry to hear that. I've heard lots of nail techs say it's a possibility, but I never heard of anyone actually developing the allergy before. I've just started using polygel to avoid the smell of monomer.
@@fikanera838 Thank you so much! It's so painful so be careful if you start noticing little bumps around your cuticles or unusual peeling under your free edge. The allergy gets worse the more you're exposed to the product so it can just happen out of nowhere. Unfortunately, I have no clue which ingredient/s that I'm now allergic to so I'm stuck with my stumpy fingers, haha!! Wishing you the best, happy holidays!!
I had a very similar issue once but the problem wasn't the gel but the primer. When the allergy was over, I used a very small amount of the primer on my skin around the nail to test it and bingo. Other than that, I also had a bad allergic reaction to the Madam glam polishes. Try different products but don't do nail extensions before doing a skin test first. I hope this can help because I am so scared I'll get the allergy (I can't have my bare nails because they are too weak- naturally weak, always have been).
There’s videos of ppl putting gel on someone’s skin for a lil bit and the reaction was crazy so if you get it on your skin regardless you’ll get a reaction I get it too if it’s on my skin
Avoid getting gel on your skin, remove it with alcohol if it happens, cure the gel completely, use gel products sparingly. The only way to truly avoid gel allergies is to not apply it to your natural nails at all. But you can do press ONS with gel polishes while wearing gloves then glue those on with an air dry glue.
are the sidawalls okay? sometimes they seem super thin that the nail is shining thtough a lot.... is it alright? when i do my nails and my sidewalls end up looking like that the nails usually chips there and the whole sidewall at that point just falls off

@@stopwar9793 @Nailcou I'm from Poland too. That's it's true, Polish people are afraid of Putin... Last week, two people died, because Russia sent to Poland two bombs. NATO are afraid of third world.... I think, 3 world war is now. Russia fighting with anyone =this is war 🤦🏼♀️
Everyone I know in this area is scared of his crazy ideas too 😔 everyone is suffering , dealing with the consequences or terrified on where it’s all going
How do you not get a big clump under i tried the clips because the polygel n dual form dont adhear well without it but then once cured the underneath is awful n breaks off how do you avoid this and get the underneath to look normal
I bought a similar set and after the second time I had a horrible allergic reaction, my nails half-lifted off!! Be careful girlies and make sure you don't get product on your hands and *emphasis* fully cure!!
isn't this product marketed as doin less damage? all that drilling is as damaging as the chemicals. I purchased a kit (different brand) and it is not easy to apply unless you have years of experience. I had to wait several months between sets due to the damage. I'm trying sistaco next.

Fantastic video. I could instantly see where I had gone wrong. Excellent tutorial, thank you x

I do like dual forms and your trick with the freeze curing was very helpful. What about jelly tips ? Do you like them or use them?
Yes, very pretty and simple too…thanks for the base coat hack❤💅🌹

They look gorgeous as always. ❤❤❤❤❤
I feel like you could have used bigger sizes because the sides of the natural nails are mostly exposed and the extension is very thin on the sides
Natasha, I truly enjoy your videos so much and learned so much from them as well.. I look forward to the next one...💋🤓
How does the brush not get sticky from the gel?! Ours does!

What kind of dehydrator and primer did you use?

Apparently I'm now allergic or have irritation to gel. Well, that's what my bleeding, cracked, peeling, burning fingertips are saying!!! 😢

That's sad, have you tried a Hema free gel? It costs a bit more but that's generally what causes most allergies.
Oh no! I've been afraid to try it for that reason. Guess I need to do a patch test.

Hello! Do we have to use cuticle softener before nail prep
It's not a must but it does help.
Hell yeah!😍
Great job 💝
Where can i by this Saviland kit?
This was a great tutorial, but can I ask where the hacks were?
Do you ever use cuticle remover 😊
