The back side looks is awesome, somewhat that of City..but the mileage is really impressive of 20 kmph!

Please do a detailed review of Maruti Ciaz Zxi. Need to know the newness in terms of the electronics, breaking, OEM music system and speakers, and a dedicated segment on the smart key.
My first car was a 3-cyl. Maruti 800cc made in India and was nothing like that spacious sedan :D It was only 10 years ago and cars are so freaking big now. It's good though.

Vow finally Maruti cud get the car with classy Dash and good Sleek Dynamics. Looks having a Character of Class leading in the Segment. Ample Legroom, Good Mileage and Drive Quality will lead the Segment. Infotainment sound fantastic. Finally feature packed.
looks Good. But I don't know how they squeeze so good millage even though engine is same in Ertiga. 20 KMPL on petrol means u will get millage of Wagon R in this car. Also Maruti needs to load all variant like mac wheels, rear Ac vent and music system with steering control as std.
Can the ciaz steering wheel be adjusted for reach and height?

I wanted to know about Maruti Ciaz 1.4L Petrol Engine.....Is it good to buy or not.....i have seen many reviews of customers about the lack of power while overtaking on highways.....so it good to buy......and will it be suitable car to run with CNG kit and power.

Mam out of topic question.....why does most of the reviewers always say positive about the cars for example build quality of caiz most of them said its top notch😕 but i am using my caiz build quality 30/100 its do disappointing that no one is exposing maruti quality and we fall for them because of you guys...

As u said if it really delivers "20Km/l" for the petrol variant then it will be big hit in India based only on that fact, forget the blings and the features it comes with. They should have made its rear end a quite different in shape because at a first glance it does look like a Honda City. Looks like we now do have an option for the ever popular Honda city. Cheers ....

where is cruise control, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, Sunroof ? ......although we don't really use all these, but i feel it is necessary in this segment for a car. Even SX4 was initially a successful car, but later lost its position in a very short period. if it has a price advantage then let's see
Touch screen have issues. slow , and some times light is auto off and auto on .
Come on Suzuki stop putting this Same crap 1.3l multijet in all your cars. This Vehicle definitely need a new engine anything with 135/150bhp, 25kgm@1500rpm Torque..... This engine will be quite sluggish under load. Definitely destroy the cars worth.

Well the engine can be better tuned for more output...the Dzire has 75bhp output while the ciaz has 89bhp...not the same
and y dont they change there steering wheel style

In 2014 finally a Maruti car with front arm rest, Maybe by 2030 Maruti will start offering Sunroof, Six airbags, Auto headlamps & wipers etc in their premium offering

Ciaz is nice
Best product from Maruthi so far. Much better ROI compared to Verna and City as they pass cost to customers for not having 100% localised manufacturing. Only drawback is power which is only adequate and not like City or Verna. Rapid has best power in this segment and therefore you have to choose an all rounder and not a car which is specifically good in one aspect.
What maruti suzuki should be building is a 3 door / 2 door coupe racing sports for young girls, boy, couples and old timers will follow later. Something like mazda miata i mean

feel is quite upmarket for a mid size sedan
just wished if they would have kept looks head lights front look, indicator leds,and tail light same as it was shown in Auto Expo 2014, it would have been hot piece of cake, but now they messed it up, same old boring looks decade old, with same old engine....
the lady is perfect, excellent driving skills for sure

what ! 20 kmph for petrol! I though city is way ahead in game with 17 kmph in petrol. although mine never went beyond 10.3 kmph with smooth driving
its only on paper, when it comes to real world driving it will be close to 13kmpl
Bro mine Ertiga squeeze out 14-15 kmpl easily on petrol with double Ac on highway, when claim efficiency is just over 16 kmpl. On top of that mine is CNG, so car always need to carry weight of tank and 7 people. so may be we can get 18 in this as it is more light with only 5 people and no cng tank.
may be my city is very new .. only three months old. it might take some time to get better mileage
millage more depends on Driving style. My car also 3 months used bought in May. But has completed 9k km's.
then i suppose Maruti petrol's mileage is inherently better than Honda's. I also drive very smooth and avoid quick accelerations/stops

People who are into Honda badge and brand value will still buy the City. Though this looks like a promising car, part of the problem is Maruti's badge value as a small car manufacturer. That's why Baleno and SX4 despite being great cars with good engines (read petrol) were not successful. As far as diesel is concerned, I guess someone with bit of sense will buy neither of the two. Honda's NVH is too high and 1.3litre in a sedan this big feels too low. In that the Vento/Rapid still tops the chart with VW/Skoda badge value and awesome built quality, even if low on gismos.
but those who are concerned about service, will still go for maruti brand.

yeah, nowadays Mahindra is my favourite they are innovating with their uv's tuv, kuv, etc. and their beautifully abrupt and different designs... and renault is also doing good, i especially loved its make in india kwid

fefinitely looks good ,pricing has to besee n but the interiores will never bore you,mileage though all suzuki versions give better mileage than honda cars.

ciaz has a major problem with the headlights....its a dangerous vehicle to drive at night in the highways....i bought it but regretting now...u cant drive it at night...its headlamps are very poor

Features are impressive, but looks underpowered. Maruti should have continue with SX4 engine or Turbo charged it.
Looks like Ciaz is inspired from Vauxhall Insignia. Though it is boring plain design, people are gonna buy it just because it is Maruti Suzuki.

y the hell is the petrol engine less peppier than the diesel even though it has more horses? Maruti always has shown disregard for the petrol cars till date..... the Verna 1.4 petrol is so exciting and yah...1.6 petrol is a blast...
bcz Maruti=Middleclass.... Suzuki=Class... Maruti are like Jugaad me sab fix lagaya hua Mechanic ka kam... Indians like maruti cz its low cost and easy emi (finance easy) and also Roadside mechanic can also fix it/service it... but if you own any other Foreign car its very complicated beautiful system and once a roadside mechanic messes it up the Service station wont even change with and might cost dear.

Front looks like that old Baleno, its boring. Engine is underpowered with just 90 bhp. Both petrol and diesel are noisy motors on this. Doesnot look it will be a hit.

big disappointment when compared to the suzuki alivio, which is the Chinese version of this car...indians are truly second-class customers for all car companies...

We want at 6,99,000 which is 11,000 $ for that u don't get the Yaris also in us.. Chev spark in us starts from 7.29 lacs.

+ArssszShaaaz but u get Range Rover sport at about 55lakhs rupees (converted) in USA , while 1.5 crore in India! also cars like Land Cruiser Prado are supposed to be around 32lakhs but starts at 90lakhs! this is because cars which aren't produced in a region are imported. and india charges 170% of the cost of the car as duties

Mileage is everything in India. Personally speaking Honda city looks are killed by it's tyre size and Ciaz is not that beautiful in looks as Verna. So according me Verna still rulez.

The shock absorbing abilities of this vehicle is below par. Get a friend to go over a speed breaker with you in the second row of seats. You may decide not to buy the vehicle and you will thank me.
