Just add a rule that in the (rare) case, two teams are facing each other in the last game of the season and the team with the losing record would ordinarily get the first draft pick, instead, that pick would go to the winner of that game. The NFL could make a rule saying the same. I'm sure all parties would prefer that, trying to go out with a win, and winning the first-round pick as a result.
Another rule variation could be to award the best performing team eligible for the first-round pick on the last week of the season. Thus, if there were three (2-7) teams eligible with identical records. A team winning their game against a 5-4 team would outperform a team winning against a 4-5 record team and the third team that lost their game.
Great reporting! It's been a good season good start heading into the Playoffs! My picks: Birmingham (will rebound), San Antonio (they are Hot right now), DC (Quest for .500 without Abram Smith. It's Good if they hit that mark. That Smith injury Obviously hurt them.), and Houston to win the #1 Seeds!!! Addressing one of the write-ins you read (the one about San Antonio) YES Mexicans are a good population to market to. Just ask the Dallas Cowboys & Las Vegas Raiders!!! Thanx Mark, Great Reporting Enjoy week 10!!! 🍻 🍻 🍻 🍻
Yeah just where is The Rock and Dany this whole season!? Interesting how there not even around. As for attendances and ratings its not surprising you have lower turnouts when your home team isn't performing well. Still what a season so far and I can't wait to see how the 1st season of the UFL comes to a conclusion! Thanks for your show as always!😀
I'd like to see two more teams but if it remains status quo I'm ok with it. Marketing is the most important. Yes, Fans are scared the league will fold. I do not think it will.
I would love if this becomes a thing having the two worst teams in their own playoff game for the first pick. Prevent teams from tanking
