D minor Rock Ballad Backing Track

- Been so long since I created a backing track but was jamming this idea on my looper pedal so figured I'd make this! A fairly out of the blue switch to A mixolydian in the middle so look out for that. Really hope you enjoy this guys and thanks to everyone who has been listening to and commenting on Grand Designs III. It really means a lot!

this track brought out some licks and phrasing that i hadn't been in touch with for a loooong time. Good Job!
really enjoyed playing to this. Found switching between dorian and minor in the section that's in D feels good. The raised 6th in the right places gives it a real nice feel

I always try Locrian for awhile...seeing it as Phygian with a flat 5, what's not to like?

it switchs beetwin A aeolian and A dorian

Yes, sort of, but sounds to me to be D mixolydian but same notes as A Dorian. Just feels more mixo because of the chords here. Also, in mixolydian, for some strange reason, you are able to play minor pentatonic over the major mode of mixolydian, so in this case, D minor pent. It gives it its soulful blues feel.
