@@junaidshabir4328 much better overall. we went through a tough period from the fall of ottomans to the end of 90s war, especially during the communist Yugoslavia in regards to religion. now we're free to practice our religion. many still suffer from communism but it's a vastly better situation, especially for the youth. the genocide and ethnic cleansing impacted smaller entity in our country named Republika Srpska where our population is much lower than before. we hope it can be much better. thanks for asking.

I am from Bosnia, from a Serb cultural background, I accepted Islam several years ago. May Allah preserve the Muslims in Bosnia, in Palestine and anywhere in the world. May Allah bless the soul of shaykh Uthaymeen, for we are benefiting from him even after his death. May Allah forgive the sins and shortcomings of Muslims, and may Allah increase Muslim leaders with piety and wisdom. I firmly trust Muslim leaders are doing what they can for Gaza, in our present complex global circumstances. No doubt that victory belongs to the Muslims.

This is so relevant to today's events. It's almost as if he's speaking about the current crisis in Palestine. Goes to show that we haven't learned from the past. Once again we Muslims are silently watching the butchering of our brothers and sisters without being able to do anything but make dua.
What a tragedy for the ummah that we haven't learnt anything. The Sheikh talked about Bosnia and it applies exactly to gaza today. And to the many atrocities against Muslims between then and now. what the sheikh says is true... it is indeed a sad state of affairs for the Muslims, and he did not even mention the vast injustices happening in other countries and there are a lot of injustices against the Muslims. But our countries have economic ties with such countries and in some cases, are even allies, and in other cases, the government and the armies of Muslim countries oppress their own people. I, as a Muslim, can feel bad for what is happening to the Muslims, but it does not matter as long as our rulers and army leadership are not on the right path. Most of our rulers are lapdogs of the countries that suppress the Muslims, and the army generals take training and bribes from the same countries to do their evil bidding. They are also corrupt as hell and steal from taxpayer money to build their heavens in the west. They talk about patriotism while their children are in the west, and they also retire to the west where all the money they stole from the Muslim land is. An ordinary Muslim cannot be blamed for living an ordinary life and speaking as much against injustice so that it does not threaten him/her or his/her family. Many Muslims do not even think about these things as it is mad depressing. All I can say is pray your Salah and make dua. Try to build larger and stronger family units (feminism is decreasing our average family size, and other effects along with other ideologies). Teach your kids the right things and do not let them be influenced by the ideologies in the west and teach them the evils of these ideologies. Most Muslims do not shy away from war as they see it as a source to please Allah Almighty and martyrdom as one of the best endings to your life. Our rulers and army generals do not want that as they are in the clutches of the west. Most generals have never even seen the battlefield in real life. Never fought a single battle and are not good tacticians. Muslims desire peace for the whole world, while the west is pushing the world to an end by constantly committing war crimes or supporting others that do commit war crimes (according to international laws---most of these war crimes are consistent with Islamic war crimes where the non-combatants/civilians must not be harmed). Pray and make sincere dua. Allah Almighty knows all your duas in the past, present, and future.

people who cry for the ummah have to look at themselves first and ask if they are ready and willing to go and fight for the cause of Allah! Only then will there be an ummah!
We need to fight our leaders first. If not we the ummah will be helpless in the corner while suffering. We cant even help our brothers and sisters are in suffering in Palestine. Our leaders do nothing while our hearts is in bleeding of what we are witnessing the lost of lives, the devastating death of our brothers and sisters. The onfants , children, lregnat women, the elderly. What happen to our leaders. Why they dont want to break the shackle of Democracy?
