Aditya had an early game 1 speed advantage and kept playing defensively. Why have the Calyrex out there and not get the astral barrage going with that Calm Mind he did I'll never understand.
I don’t mean to be rude or anything but did anyone else find the gameplay in this video a little bit predictable or did anybody think at any point that there was a better move that the players could have been going for to win instead of what they were doing
tbh yes actually, at the turn on 9:07 i thought for sure Aditya would go for helping hand astral barrage, maybe he was trying to stop the protect into heal pulse? but then follow me would have stopped that+healed his own clefairy, and astral barrage would have worked anyways, and his clefairy would still be alive i didnt see the point of the sing play but maybe i am just stopid. he is definitely better than me because he made it this far and he clearly wanted to make the hh+astral barrage play but something stopped him
ive never seen a competition battle before but this seemed abit....idk different i feel abit lame with how i play the game now does anyone else not use support moves and just focus on attack moves in battle? theres a rare few support moves ill use like iron shield or agility but other than that its mostly all just attacks
Clafairy and Incineroar are mostly support. What you are talking about are set up moves. And the have them with Calm Mind and Nasty Plot, but you have to be very careful with when you set up in doubles, which is why Grim/Chilling Neigh are good as they provide free boosts, and why Parting shot is so used.

Big fan of Montana Mott, hope his success continues!!!
Didi was playing crazy game one. He should’ve been hitting astral baraged while clefairy was helping with damage.
Send that video to SkrawVGC.
That position jockey was like the European international championship.
The battle of the Calyrexes.

It was cause Montana knew he could just attack, meanwhile his opponent was scared and played defense the whole game, so that just kept repeating

Well at least it was not just me
@@emmaroni100% didn’t get the sequence of plays by Adi. Feels like a blunder. High pressure situation got better of him ig
@@emmaroniexactly, what could have stopped him from that play? Maybe he was considering something we are missing?
That sing hits game 2 and he’s easily got the W and we get a game three sadge
