I've never really explored misty mountains from an artistic perspective, even though I do a lot of work with fantasy and sci-fi themes, so this was really insightful and inspirational. I'll definitely have to try this in one of my next drawings. Thanks, LethalChris!

The way you describe what you are doing is so helpful. Details like which parts of the pencil tip you're using, different techniques to erase gently, etc, are the kinds of details people like myself need to hear, to really help at home. Thanks so much!

I have no experience at all in drawing. In process of becoming a mosaic artist and intersted in adding drawing techniques to enhance projects. I found this video very helpful. Would really be interested in viewing videos targeted for people without any formal training in art, with deliberate steps at slower pace. Thank you incredible misty trees. I love drawing trees and looking at them. So excited to learn your techniques!

Drop dead beautiful ❤ I can only stare in awe, really. I'm just a hobby crafter and was looking for a way to add a fog effect to one of my greeting cards when I found this video. You get a follow simply because I could watch your art and listen to you for hours, seriously. Thank you for sharing!

I'm retired and decided to get back into drawing. I like your style and how you explain the process. Your videos have taught me more about shading and I hope to be able to improve my drawings. Thank you so much for your teaching. I really enjoy your work.

I always thought that drawing from pencils you needed to start from the front ground 1st, the middle ground, and the back ground for last. you drawn this landscape as you were using a paint brush, I just learned something new, NO LIE, 4REAL...

Thank you Chris! I enjoyed your video very much. Fog is my hardest concept to convey. I am a pencil Artist as well as Chalk Pastels. I'm trying to create a foggy scene with pastels and it is most difficult. By watching your drawing with pencil, I think I can find a method to do what I intend. Today is 03/13/20 and I am most grateful indeed! I've tried to watch other video's but not only is yours easy to grasp, you have a gentle voice which helps more than you can know. I also subscribed to your channel today! Again, thank you so much!

one can go from 4B to HB and to H2 for a texture and more controlled fade out. That fixes the shape any soft pencil leaves even after using the smudge method.
