Oh, I do like that Sunday Sweater. A little long in the arms for me, and I definitely would not be able to knit this, possibly crochet if I had a pattern to follow. You have some very nice looking goals.

You can always make things shorter or longer and alter the pattern 😉

I totally agree with you about what we choose to make. In my early knitting days, I was buying patterns that I found beautiful and it took me a while to realize that I wouldn't wanna wear all of the FOs. I ended up not knitting many of them (though maybe I'll change my mind in the future, who knows?) Now I take time to think about that before I buy a pattern. Another thing I carefully think of is: am I gonna hate knitting the item? And if the answer is yes, well I don't buy it, even if I'm convinced I'd love wearing the FO.

Absolutely!! I feel like as we make items we learn what we want to knit/crochet and wear rather than just following along what others are doing. I couldn’t agree more about loving the knit as well. We should always enjoy the process

When you buy yarn, how much do you buy typically if you dont know what you are planning to make? can you do a video on that?
