One of the cornerstones of Vision 2030 is increasing tourism revenue and attracting a global audience to places of outstanding natural beauty and heritage value in the kingdom. To this end, Prince Mohammed said that preserving and enhancing the environment was a key priority.
Such initiatives could boost tourism plans for some of the kingdom's most ambitious projects, including a series of resorts called the the Red Sea Project, which spans 90 islands, at a cost of almost $4bn.
I have been living here for a while, the only thing that will ruin this beautiful park is the amount of trash that is dumped by the residents around the city. Even the deserts have lost their beauty because of the amount of trash in them.
it would be so much more interesting if the same money was spent on a series of several hundred small courtyard parks and plazas distributed throughout the city and connected by shaded green pedestrian ways lined with commercial. As in, something culturally derived, climate appropriate, and serving a purpose.
"Environmental initiatives in the country have a direct impact on tourism and many other sectors," he said. "Vegetation in the kingdom has increased by 40 per cent during the past four years, which has provided many opportunities.
Im halfway through and the video is almost entirely about buildings in the park and not the park. Technically they are not part of the park, i expect they still included their footprint in the overal area of the park to make the ridiculous size even bigger. Also with all those roads going through it, is it still one park, or many parks next to each other? 🤷♂️
You lost me when you featured a map of Dammam where the park in Riyadh was located at the intro of the video. You gotta know your maps to be credible….

They need to be focused. Spend money on improving education system and perhaps transport infrastructure first. Provide excellent public housing and world-class hospitals. Use the money to provide grants for entrepreneurship and upskilling amongst citizens. With more generated income, then you create icons. Instead you just build ostentatious megaprojects and ended up abandoning it. What a waste of resources.

Why are you jealous? Is this because of the poverty and corruption of your country?
So they can’t have a garden cause they don’t have a river ?
Where is the logic
Which means that this achievement is actually bigger for them.
Meanwhile no support for Palestinians.
