    Just ordered a PS5 and decided that I didn’t need to spend the extra on a 120hz TV. After some research (including watching this review) I decided to bite the bullet and found the 43” version of this for just £290 from Costco. Heads up to anyone wanting the smaller screen size then go grab one, doubt the price will drop more than that even when the “Black Friday Sales” kick in proper this weekend.
    Edit : Costco offer a 5 year warranty included in the price so it’s a no brainer for me.

    My only goal is to save someone, anyone from the horrors that come along with owning a Hisense TV. For the full version of my story and many similar stories. Just Google ‘Hisense problems’ or ‘I hate Hisense’. Their TVs are horrible and unreliable. I believe they have the worst reliability rating of all major manufacturers. And the Customer Service is just as bad. So if you have any issues, even if under warranty, good luck getting them to address it. As I write this I’m ‘Hard Reseting’ my TV probably for the 12th or more time. That’s back to factory settings. It will not fix any issues, for more than a minute. So please take my / our advice and just don’t purchase a Hisense TV. No matter how good it looks or how cheap it is.

    I have a Hisense 43E7HQ, but I can say that the TV has a very, very bad viewing angle, because if I move just a centimeter, the picture loses color and contrast. Playing a bad source is also bad and I will never buy a low-priced TV from Hisense again. right now, I'm leaning towards buying a Sony X80K or a Philips PUS8518, but first I need to test how the Philips viewing angle is. Even Samsung has quite a few problems with these entry-level models, as many people say that they have a lot of bleeding in the panel, even though they have replaced the TV.

    I don’t disagree with the quality of Hisense TVs, but I’ll say this:
    Hisense support is so bad it’s not worth it. I called them because my tv had burn-in issues after a few months. I called their support and within a week a technician came on-site with a screw driver. He engraved 6 large X’s on my TV screen.
    Then we waited three months for a replacement. I called every week for an update.

    • @mrkcwan
      @mrkcwan ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tttechnology I wasn't sure what panel tech it was or what was supposed to be higher end the A7 or E7 series, but viewing the 43" in A7 and E7 side by side in Costco which was looping the same demo footage. I can't say if they were just on factory default settings or not, but the E7 seemed to kill the shadow detail, where the A7 just plucked out the textures.
      The A7 also seem overly sharpened with over enthusiastic saturation of colour which was unrealistic and too high contrast to create a bit of 'wow'. The A7 looked more natural and was my preference as I didn't like the high contrast and lack of shadow (even mid shadow) detail of the E7, but the viewing angle was quite narrow, moving my head to the side or below and the images lost contrast and became pale with no weight behind the dark areas.
      On the shelf anyway the A7 looked the more high end due to the white colour printed box, the E7 box looked so basic just a brown cardboard box with black print. Was totally confused as to which letter the A or the E was supposed to be the higher tier model.
      43" A7 was £312 and E7 was £288 - both with 5 year guarantee at Costco

    Just don't buy it if you plan to play games on it... the 60fps works fine enough, but 30fps looks terrible with a ton of judder, 24fps movies look like claymation once you disable the post processing effects. Also it's not HDMI 2.1, it's HDMI 2.0. I have no idea how this guy tested it, or maybe the review version of the TV is just better than the end product, the other TV reviewers were also hyping this thing up, and because of them, I blew my money away on this thing and will be stuck with it until it dies, or I sell it at a loss and get a cheaper TV for that money... all I know is I'll never buy a hisense product ever again.

    Sound quality is terrible on this TV, actually the worst I've ever heard . I had to purchase a soundbar. Most HDR content is poor as the colours can look washed out especially people's faces, so colour gamut isn't strong enough. A lot of HDR content is too dark even toggling the settings. The picture is pixelated and blocky in dark scenes and Shadows According to manufacturer the TV only has 250 nits peak brightness.
    Colours are oversaturated especially red and green, adjusting settings doesn't change much. Backlight settings don't change anything. Adaptive contrast settings are annoying with constant dimming effect . Football matches aren't great the colour uniformity is poor. My 8 year old Samsung TV has a much better picture quality than this TV. I wouldn't advise using this TV as your main unit. Spend a bit more and get an LG, Samsung or Sony instead. Or even the u6g or u7h hisense TVs look good .
