Playing a champion for the first time in Diamond game and doing creditably? Respect, Huzz. This is where your habit of playing all different kinds of champions stands you in good stead.
I feel like Hwei is straight forward but at the same time he’s like Batman’s utility belt where your decision making with the kit and with positioning on map is the hardest part.
I've been playing a lot of Hwei. My first game I was so confused, because I didn't watch the spotlight so I had 0 clue what I was doing. After that I realized he's actually pretty strong if you hit your abilities. I think he's actually kind of balanced compared to most newly released champions. I tried both liandry and ludens and far prefer ludens. Liandry damage feels so much less
I got to say IDK how I feel about having each ability doing 3 things. When you level it up you would be leveling 3 skills at once. This would make every ability weak since they are all Separate Or super strong since you get 3 with each level.
Combo I like is Q-E E-E Ult Q-W , Theres so much slow and aoe in that combo that champs without a dash will take tons of damage, and the last Q-W is only for the runners that lived haha. I play him with Liandries tho :3
Hey... fair is fair. If an ultimate is very powerful, in addition to the rest of your kit, it's ok if it's hard to hit. Just like Urgot's, it's easy to miss but it's a literal execute.
@HuzzyGames I think he's going to do better after the patch .Riot shouldn't have touched him until the next season where the new mage items are out and let players adjust to the changes.
If you let me disagree, I think they do need to buff it. People will play it more and therefore learn him better. It's not bad if they re-adjust him after people get familiar with it.
I agree but disagree since he came out I think he's a slight bit lackluster compared to other Champs. However I think he will get the buff needed from the items I bound from next season just sucks we have to wait and see
Unfortunately Hwei does needs buffs , he brings nothing to the table that other mages dont, lux has a long range snare that snares 2 ppl, a long range aoe burst that gives vision , a shield projectile that can potentially shield everyone twice, and a long range laser burst with a low cd … why play Hwei over lux? I think thats the problem with hwei, plus his ratios are garbage

This champion reminds me a lot of the Naruto moba champions from Warcraft 3. He has such wide and long spells.
Hwei actually looks really fun! I only hope he doesnt turn out too much like Ryze or Azir where hes too good with pros and has to be forever nerfed.
I'm curious to know how you feel about the B-patch buffs they gave Hwei just yesterday. They don't look too huge, but what do you think?
Still wish they wouldn't buff him at all for the first month

Hwei has similar mechanics to invoker?
