I've been a Pomona resident for 15 years and attended Cal Poly Pomona!
Cal Poly was impressive, real gardens, cows and Arab horses.
It obvious, people do learn something there

Thank you for the tour of Pomona! I have a request! Would you mind driving through the Westmont area? We lived on Jess St. from 1959 to 1975. My home town. I can not believe how its grown since then.
I lived there 1956-1961. Lived on corner of Wright St. and Storres Pl. Westmont Elementary was a great place.
Thank you for sharing this City of Pomona, born and raised there you showed all my stomping ground area. The only thing is you didn't show the old Pomona Mall on 2nd Street that would have been really nice if you would have showed that, they've upgraded a lot of the buildings here.

You missed the best part of Pomona - Lincoln park it’s a historical area, in fact the largest intact historical homes in Southern California- the houses 🏘 are big and beautiful around the circular park, Too bad, maybe next time.
If you where looking for Boneli Park with the lake, again so close when you where on the far side of the LACounty Fairplex.. less than one mile from Ganesha Hills.

That's what I was sayin'! I grew up a few blocks from Lincoln Park over on Kingsley. I was like turn around turn around yessling at my tv cuz he missed so much good stuff, lol. oh well.
Every thing is called Kellogg because Kellogg's cereal used to own all that land. When he died he donated it to the collage.

Wanna visit Pomona so bad.
Well, Pomona has had some good times, but now it is a sewer pit.
We are over run with homeless people everywhere and the police dept does nothing to get them under control. The homeless roam the neighborhoods and steal from yards and break into homes during the day.
The streets are crowed with street vendors. The regular neighborhoods are crowded with multiple families living in each home. There are cars parked everywhere on those streets.
Don't buy a home or rent a place in Pomona. The city is aggressively seeking low income housing units. Pomona streets are alive with illegal activity all night long. There are shootings and robberies all night long on our streets.
If you want to live in this area, look in San Dimas, La Verne, or Claremont.
These cities are determined to maintain a wholesome, single family atmosphere.
