- We arrive in Saint John New Brunswick for some shopping, a quick bite at Izumi on the ship and witness first hand how swiftly the tides change in this city.
Had a port stop in Saint John years ago and rented a car and did the Fundy Trail. Saint John/Bay of Fundy is known for its drastic tide changes. There was a small town we drove through on the way out to the trail with the water at a normal level, and we drove back a few hours later all the boats were resting on the bottom because the water was gone. It was crazy to see. Glad that you enjoyed Canada.
You are right, it was so crazy to see! We knew the tide was going to go out but didn't realize the extent of how much the ship was going to drop down.
I enjoyed this video. A job well done! I haven't been to Saint John in years...this brought back many memories. Thank you!
Thank you! We are so glad you enjoyed it!
Oh Greg...😂😅 lmbo..."I like big ships and I cannot lie." My hilarious cousin, I love you man!
😂 🤣 He's sooo silly!
Yarmouth Nova Scotia. Best bath tub ever. A giant wide mouth nozzle filled the tub in like 30 seconds. It was surreal!
Wow!
Seeing that cement wall would freak me out.
It did! We really had no idea what to think when we seen it!!
Halifax can also get hot! I was told 30+C was close to a September record on the day QM2 dropped us off. That was in 2016.
Interesting! We've never been to Halifax but would like to visit the area one day.
Saint John not Saint John's if I'm not mistaken... And the Bay of Fundy has the deepest tides in the world.. upto 16 meters difference from low to high tide.
You are so right about Saint John not Saint John's! We have a Saint John's local to us so we are just use to saying Saint John's!! Whoopsie!😂
No recent updates from ship mate from you guys
We are too busy editing but we'll have a new video up for you next week! 😊
Can't wait
Friend requested you there (Ship mate)
Another cliffhanger...what happened to the water?
The tide went out and we dropped approximately 30ft. Tide came back and left out at 7pm.
