it's really good if you're planning on buying cheap stuff anyway. For the same cost, it's better than buying at a dollar store. and up Alibaba they make you buy a hundred of them to get the good cost so from wish you can often get cost that's better than Alibaba but not as good as you would get buying in bulk. Idk, it depends on what you're buying. For example, if you just want your 6 year old daughter to feel fancy I having a cool looking watch that looks like Mom's, why not? Perfect! You'll spend maybe $5 and have something that you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else locally.
@@pilotavery that's what Aliexpress does, it's the official e-market from Alibaba, where sellers buy in bulk and sell in individual amounts at the best price. Wish literally copies the offers from Aliexpress, add a markup, and when they get your money they use it to actually buy the stuff you could have bought directly from you. Basically, you're paying someone selling on Wish twice the amount just so you don't have to do the exact same thing from Aliexpress.
@@SergioLeRoux what I've noticed is that which must have some warehouses somewhere because they can offer me the same price for the identical product as the bulk of 25 for the same part number and everything. It is pretty good, I just wouldn't trust the electronics. Had lots of good experiences with stuff like desktop organisers, neck tubes (for skiing), arts & crafts things, boots and other things that don't require power.
So they took a GTS 450 and spoofed it to become a broken, fake "GTX 1050 ti"? It would have been better to just leave it as a working GTS 450, which is better than a broken GTX 1050 ti.
Let me guess, it either is a GTX 1030 or.. a 900 series with a firmware update to fake it being a 10 series. Really it is that old...wow. That what a scam.
A clever one, tho. It's not like you lost 500. They know most people won't bother complaining at all or just give up after the seconds complaint. 2nd - in case they get in trouble, which I doubt, they can get away with pretending there had been a mix up and the customer was accidentally sent the wrong card.

You know you could report the seller on Wish and they will refund your money to you. I went through a similar experience with a memory card. As with you, it came in semi-legit looking packaging but was DOA when I tried to read data off of it. I complained, the seller was removed from Wish, and I was refunded my money.
If this was an occasional problem, that system would have promise and Wish would have the potential to be a very nice shopping site once some of these dealers were busted. But as is, Wish is infested with scams of all types, and I couldn't recommend using it in any way. Wish was my first online shopping app. I thought items ALWAYS took months to arrive when ordering online. And then I made the switch to Amazon. I did get some pretty nice Amiibo cards from Wish, however. But I later found out they are probably counterfeit despite working.
@@LAshotts I'm sorry, was I speaking Swahili? I'm talking about exactly what I said. The bogus product could be reported, the seller would be removed, and the money fully refunded. I'm not sure what part of that you find difficult to comprehend.

I fail so see how returns, refunds, and bare minimum customer service are helpful when you have to filter the gold yourself and find out which ones are scams the hard way. Same here dude.
Hope you clicked on that ad - because it costs Wish advertising money :) If all do it every time they see their ads - they would be fcked up :)
If people in 2019 still watch ads on TH-cam, then you deserve to be scammed by Wish.

2.5 years and hundreds of videos later, you've gone from 2.2k subs to over 373k!!! Congrats Dawid!
Half of the stuff on Wish is a scam.
The other half is stuff they order from Aliexpress with your money at half the price you pay for it.
I only got one thing from there, a free USB stick for installing the app. Arrived after a month, but can't really complain
it's really good if you're planning on buying cheap stuff anyway.
I suspect they're buying 100 at a time. Because I've noticed I'm getting an even better deal than I was expecting. Nothing to good, but definitely nice

Thank for you purchasing the "I wish I didn't Buy it" GTX Graphics Card.
Was there EVER a time when it WASN'T considered a scam??
It is pretty good, I just wouldn't trust the electronics. Had lots of good experiences with stuff like desktop organisers, neck tubes (for skiing), arts & crafts things, boots and other things that don't require power.
The rule of thumb with wish and its other website geek is to not purchase any electronics from it.
don't trust brand names or tech of any kind and alls gucci. also dice. never buy dice from wish.

So they took a GTS 450 and spoofed it to become a broken, fake "GTX 1050 ti"? It would have been better to just leave it as a working GTS 450, which is better than a broken GTX 1050 ti.
yez thank you for the summary, but I already watched it
Guess it's better business for Wish to be scamming, I guess
You could do that, but how do you get scammed then? It’s Wish, you have to get scammed
Gts-450 doesn't worth 10 bucks tho
On userbenchmark the GTX 1050 is 230% better then the GTS 450.....
The funny thing about the graphics card is that I ordered that exact same one on amazon and was ripped off because it was like 7 generations older

Most the time you can use a prepaid card instead of your credit card. Like protection for you wallet.

I am not sure any 10 series cards have VGA. You should be able to lodge a dispute and get a refund.
VGA is more popular in China, even on newer cards, so it's not that rare to find it on these

-GTX/GTS/RTX : Basically, what Nvidia calls their cards. GTS is really old, GTX more modern, RTX is just getting released.
-450/970/1050/2060 : Model number. Bigger number is usually more recent.
-Memory modules : graphics card have their own memory separate from RAM. More memory usually means handling more things on screen.
-Heat sink : Graphics cards get hot. This makes them not go boom.

Wish is just a “Dollar Store” Amazon. When I first used Wish years ago, I thought it was the best but delivery takes months and it’s all shit products

My coworker bought a beard catcher and he said it's useful. Haha
It used to take months, but it's much quicker now
I spent 50 dollars total on 2 wish items. Never got them.
I requested a refund.
They told me they can't and to contact wish themselves.
They told me the items were delivered and that I should have received them. Wouldn't do anything after that. Wish is shit. That's all it is.
Once I was working on my computer for the first time and I wanted more storage, and I went on wish and found a cheap harddrive. I checked how much storage it had and it was less then a movie disk.
Me: clicks on vid that is anti-wish
Ad: Yo it's rewind time here is an ad this vid is against.
Steve Martin what you talking about. Show me something on wish you can buy that is real. Aynt nothing on that site that’s quality it’s all garbage.
@@LAshotts I'm sorry, was I speaking Swahili? I'm talking about exactly what I said. The bogus product could be reported, the seller would be removed, and the money fully refunded. I'm not sure what part of that you find difficult to comprehend.
Steve Martin and what part of everything in that site is total rubbish didn’t you understand. The people you report don’t get taken of wish at all.
@@stevedmartin The system still isn't worth it with such a high chance to get scammed in the first place. I fail so see how returns, refunds, and bare minimum customer service are helpful when you have to filter the gold yourself and find out which ones are scams the hard way.
If this was a rare occurrence your argument would make a lot more sense. But this lack of quality control is ALL over Wish. A lot of what is real isn't a lie, but very, very misleading in every regard so that they DON'T have to reimburse you. Look at their tablets if you don't believe me.
