With reference to the 26:20 minute mark stating that Galatians 3:28 is a "well known egalitarian passage": For clarity and in context, the passage in Galatians speaks to all people groups being welcome and included in the body of Christ. These verses DO NOT teach that we all have equal roles in the body of Christ. The bible teaches explicitly that men and women have differing roles with the body of Christ. Bruxy wrongly taught that the "egalitarian passage" erased all male/female role distinctions - hypocritically, the leadership of The Meeting House was predominantly male. What's missing from the Bruxy analysis is why his unbiblical teaching was not more widely challenged. Bruxy doesn't deserve all of the blame - those who put him on a pedestal and excused his unorthodox teachings are partly to blame.
