Tunic has really caught my eye just for the elements you describe, how the game very much plays around with and expects the player to think about out of the box solutions to riddles that you can't get just by looking at what is inside the game... but I'd be lying if I wasn't a little scared of it because of that, wondering if I'd also resort to a guide. Nevermind the Dark Souls battlesystem, I can roll with that. But those puzzles... that's a big hurdle.
