Unfortunately, Sailor Venus was also the very Sailor Moon character the 90s anime director Kunihiko Ikuhara was trying to kill off all along (Ikuhara even verbally vowed during various reporter interviews that he hated Sailor Venus and wanted her permanently dead)! :( Poor Sailor Venus!
